It's easy to win over most young women - just don't be a MAGA backer and see the Barbie movie.
A fascinating survey has revealed the most common turn-ons and turn-offs among 18 to 34-year-old men and women in the US.
Change Research asked 1,033 Americans whether certain behaviors are a green, beige or red flag in a partner. Both genders are on the same page on some qualities, such as the importance of having hobbies or being 'bothered' enough to ask for details.
For 76 percent of women, backing MAGA ideals - Make America Great Again, a moniker championed by former president Donald Trump - was a turn-off. For men, at 64 percent, the biggest turn-off was identifying as a communist.
A majority of men interviewed - 59 percent - also cited pro-Trump beliefs as a turn-off when looking for a partner.
It was a similarly left-wing story with gender identity. Fifty four percent of women said people who believe there are only two genders turn them off. A sizeable minority of men - 34 percent - felt the same way.
Also controversial among women was the Joe Rogan podcast, with 55 percent saying they wouldn't be interested in a man who listens to the hugely popular show. Just over a third of men interviewed felt the same way, although Rogan's audience is primarily male.
Overall, there were stark differences in how men and women view stances on astrology, Black Lives Matter and owning a gun as attractive qualities.

Biggest turn-offs for women
Among women aged 18-34, which include Gen Z and later Millennials, conservative viewpoints tended to be a turn off.
Not caring about politics is a red flag for 50 percent of women, but talking about any politics will also turn off 23 percent, and identifying as a liberal is a huge no for 19 percent.
Listening to Joe Rogan will rule a man out as a potential partner for over half of women, with 55 percent saying that listening to the controversial podcast would be a red flag.
About 66 percent of women said having 'no hobbies' was also a red flag. Whether it's knitting, gardening or golf - having some hobbies is better than having none, according to the Change Research survey.
Using the anti-Black Lives Matter phrase 'All Lives Matter' was enough to turn 60 percent of women off.
Saying there are only two genders turns 58 percent off.
Haven't seen the Barbie movie yet? Skipping Greta Gerwig's summer box-office smash is a turn-off to 53 percent of women.
Owning a gun will turn 27 percent of girls off.

Biggest turn-offs for men
Men of the same age also identified their biggest attractive qualities in women as part of the survey.
About 59 percent say that identifying as a MAGA Republican is a turn-off. However, 64 percent of men think that it's a red flag to identify as a communist. So, being in the middle of the political aisle might be best.
Having no hobbies will turn 60 percent of men off but make sure hobbies don't include astrology, which will turn 41 percent off. Watching reality dating shows is a no-go for 29 percent of men.
Saying 'All Lives Matter' is less appealing to 41 percent of men, and saying 'Black Lives Matter' is a turn-off for 33 percent.
Identifying as a conservative and listening to Joe Rogan will both turn off 35 percent of men.

Here are some turn-ons
Both men and women say that reading is a turn-on, with 95 percent of women deciding that men who read is attractive and 91 percent of men agreeing.
Both genders also agree that researching for the best deals and rates before buying something is a turn-on - 88 percent for women and 85 percent for men.
Other popular green flags for women include saying 'Black Lives Matter' (60 percent), identifying as liberal (39 percent). Unsurprisingly, looking better in person than on dating app photos was also a big turn on, and appealed to 50 percent of women.
Men are commonly turned on by women who prefer cows' milk over any non-dairy milk, with 42 percent saying this is a green flag.
Men are also more turned on by women who identify as conservative (35 percent) than women who identify as liberal (29 percent).
While both genders agree that reading is hot, they disagree over whether listening to Joe Rogan is not. Only 7 percent of women say that men who listen to Joe Rogan appeal to them but 25 percent of men like women who listen to the controversial podcaster.
