Woman takes revenge against TWO housing associations she claims are trying to take control of her property
A South Carolina mom has filled her yard with signs, flags and ornaments to bait two powerful HOAs she claims are harassing her.
Anna Marie's house in Little River is one of just six on a pocket of land squeezed between the Carolina Crossing and the Waccamaw Management HOAs, but controlled by neither.
She claims she has been bullied over petty issues by the HOAs, their directors and neighbors since she moved in, but is refusing to bow to complaints about the state of her lawn.
'A lot of people around the neighborhood thought it was really funny and even were trying to contribute,' she reported on TikTok.
'With both of these HOA communities we have some people who are pretty mad about it.'

Owner Anne Marie claims matters escalated after she moved her camper out of storage
The homeowner, who posts under the tag trulyyoursannamarie reveals that matters escalated when she put her camper on the lawn at the end of June.
'Long story short, moved my travel trailer out of storage for repairs,' she told her followers. 'Wasn't even here 24 hours before our lovely HOA neighbors called the county on us.
'Of course, they said there's not a problem with it staying. But this isn't the first time we've had the county out here due to harassment calls from the HOA.'
Within days she had begun adding to her yard's assortment of curiosities with a flock of 10 plastic flamingos, a toy bulldog in bondage gear cocking its leg, and a Pride flag.
A kiddie pool, grill, and a 'redneck dream catcher' made from a wooden wreath with beer cans soon followed, along with a homemade sign reading 'Proudly non-HOA'.
Since then, flags supporting both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have been hung side by side from her porch and a family of garden gnomes installed on the lawn.
Little River sits in Horry County which was responsible for nearly a quarter of all complaints about HOAs in South Carolina last year, according to the Sun News.
And Marie's colorful protest has won plenty of support from followers who feel they are victims of HOA overreach.

'We were the first house outside the HOA,' wrote one. 'We had so many 'calls' on our non-approved fence, year-round pool, fire pit and trampoline.
'My neighbors all have deed restrictions that they can't have farm animals and a bunch of other things,' added another. 'We have 13 chickens including a rooster.'
But Marie has also faced a torrent of criticism from people viewing her as entitled and anti-social.
'This is such bizarre behavior. I can't imagine purposely causing issues in my neighborhood,' one wrote.
'It's bizarre behavior to fire back at people who think they're going to harass me until I do what they want with my property?' she responded. 'In what world? Besides, most of the neighborhood is loving this.'
'This is weird and people like you are why our world is crumbling,' claimed another.
'People who know their rights and exercise them?' she hit back. 'I'm sure it is crumbling your vision of the world. A world where offended feelings don't outweigh rights.'
Local news channel WBTW was unable to find any critics willing to go on camera but neighbor Maria Morales suggested Marie might cool tensions by talking more to them than to TikTok.
'That trailer was recently moved there a week ago or maybe two weeks ago but besides that they don't really speak to anybody,' she added.
'I mean technically they don't have an HOA, so like, I guess, they have their own say of what they do to their house.'

Marie's latest video has attracted 2.2 million views and a sign in her garden now thanks objectors for their 'concern about my trailer'.
'Thus far no mandatory date has been set for removal,' it reveals.
'Starting to set some stuff out for the day,' she wrote recently. 'I figured we'd start mellow and work our way up but, two ideas down, a million to go.'
And she seems determined to enjoy her decorative disobedience.
'All this was, at the end of the day, good fun and showing that nobody is going to take the rights of our property and what we're going to do with it,' she said.
