Dehydrated boy, three, is rescued from car in sweltering heat after his feckless father locked him in - so he could have sex with a prostitute nearby
A three-year-old boy was rescued from the sweltering heat after his father locked him inside a car to go and have sex with a nearby prostitute.
German police in the south of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia were notified about a dehydrated child who was sweating profusely in a car.
The vehicle was parked in direct sunlight, with the child sat on his own in a back seat.
A passerby eventually rang the police after speaking with the little boy. Another person also gave him some water.
The child had a high body temperature and showed signs of dehydration. According to the German Weather Service, the outside temperature was 26C when he was locked in, Heute report.

The boy was taken to a hospital in Hagen shortly after, and his mother was informed.
It was then alleged that her fiancé had parked his car at 8.15pm and went to visit a prostitute, despite telling police he visited a friend to borrow money and chat after arriving at the scene at 9.40pm.
Police have filed charges against the father for a breach of duty of care and upbringing as well as negligent bodily harm.
Further investigations are also being carried out by the criminal investigation department. The youth welfare office has also been informed.
He was then taken to a hospital in Hagen for inpatient admission.
