Heroic five-year-old saves his mother's life by calling 999 when she collapsed unconscious on the floor of their home
A five-year-old boy has been called a 'hero' after he saved his mother's life by calling 999 as she lay unconscious in their home.
When Ruby Natalie, 30, started to feel lightheaded on August 8, she decided to lie down and 'watch a bit of telly' in her central London apartment.
Just under an hour later, her youngest son JJ, five, came into the bedroom to ask for a drink - but as she went to grab one for him she suddenly fainted.
The mother-of-one told MailOnline: 'Obviously I jumped up straight away to get him a drink.
'And then in the hallway, that's where I don't remember anything. That's where I collapsed.'

The youngster had asked his influencer mother for a drink, but as she went to grab him one she collapsed
As his mother lay unconscious, brave JJ used her phone to dial 999 and speak to an operator.
While most five-year-olds would have broken down in tears, the paramedics later told of how JJ remained 'chilled' and 'very calm'.
With the guidance of the 999 operator, JJ carefully put his mother into recovery position and monitored her breathing.
Ruby said: 'There was a point where he couldn't hear me breathing and he calmly told the operator: "I don't know if mummy has died".
'And then I took a breath again and he said: "Oh no, no! Mummy is alive! She's alive! She's alive!"'
Ruby, who works as an influencer, only recently moved to central London with her sons JJ and Leo, nine.
The youngsters are still getting to grips with their new environment, and as a result when the operator asked JJ for his address, he replied: 'London'.
When probed for more details as to their whereabouts in the capital, JJ answered: 'A tall building.'

Ruby said: 'Bless him. He tried to narrow it down by saying our apartment has three balconies. He's a little gem.'
Later the operator asked JJ to unlock the door in preparation for the paramedics arrive to which the clever five-year-old told him he would not 'because of strangers'.
'I'm only going to unlock the door when you're here,' JJ explained.
Ruby started to regain consciousness when the paramedics arrived alongside her fiancé Ansis, 26, who had been fixing his new car in a nearby parking lot at the time.
Nine-year-old Leo was also not in the house when Ruby collapsed, leaving young JJ to deal with the crisis alone.
'I started to wake up and my back was so numb because I had landed on it really awkwardly,' Ruby said. 'I was screaming because I thought I was paralysed.'
She was rushed to St Thomas' Hospital in London where doctors saw blood around her right fallopian tube and rushed her to emergency surgery.
Ruby stayed in hospital for four days to recover. JJ made sure to visit with a bouquet of flowers for his doting mother.
The young mother has since returned home and JJ could not be more pleased with his new-found fame.
Ruby said: 'He's really chuffed with himself. He understands he's in the newspapers and he keeps saying: "Oh, I'm famous".
Having only recently moved to the apartment, JJ was only just coming to grips with the location so was unable to give 999 operators an exact address

JJ, who has been described by Ruby as 'a grown adult in a child's body' is set to join year one this coming September.
'He's the smartest in his class, and when people hear him speak they're gobsmacked,' she said.
'Because the things he comes out with is literally like a grown man in a child's body. His vocabulary is like incredible.
'He's my hero.'
