Beauty Queen 'murder-for-hire plotter' Lindsay Shiver makes bombshell new allegations
A beauty queen accused of hiring a hitman to kill her estranged husband claims her boyfriend tried to suffocate her with a pillow.
Lindsay Shiver and her then-boyfriend Terrance Adrien Bethel, 28, are charged with conspiring to murder ex-NFL player Robert Shiver using hitman Faron Newbold, 29.
She was held in the Bahamas since her arrest last July but a judge ruled in December that she could return to the US to see her three children over the holidays.
Shiver got a new boyfriend Dorsey Ryan Love, 35, in Alabama after she was allowed to return to the US and the trial delayed indefinitely, with the next court date not until October.
But she alleged that relationship also ended badly with Love throwing her onto a bed and threatening to kill her on July 25.

Love was arrested in Dothan, Alabama, on July 31 and charged with strangulation. He also faces three other earlier unrelated charges including identity theft.
Shiver alleged he threw her onto the bed at the home on Cherokee Avenue in Dothan, then choked her and put a pillow over her face to suffocate her.
She also for filed a protection order against Love on July 29 detailing the alleged attack, and claimed he also abused her during a holiday in Tampa, Florida, that she didn't report to police at the time.
'He threatened to kill me,' she claimed.
Lindsay was allowed to return to the US by a judge in the Bahamas on December 21 on certain conditions.
She is forbidden from being within 100 feet of her former NFL-player husband, must stay in the state of Alabama and was fitted with an electronic monitor.
The mother-of-three is only allowed to return to Georgia, where her husband lives, for divorce or custody proceedings.
She claimed Robert agreed to allow visitation rights with her children and accused him of later withholding access.

Shiver is accused of conspiring with her former barman-lover Bethel to enlist Newbold for the hit on her husband.
Prosecutors said the trio discussed the attempted hit over WhatsApp before Shiver sent a photo of Robert, who filed for divorce last April, to Newbold – along with the instruction: 'kill him.'
According to documents seen by DailyMail.com, Shiver broke down during her police interview and allegedly confessed to sending photos and messages to Newbold, instructing him to murder her husband of 13 years.
The photos, obtained by DailyMail.com, show Robert cozying up with a mystery blonde at a bar in the Bahamas.
The alleged murder plot was uncovered by chance when cops began investigating a break-in at Grabbers, a popular waterfront drinking spot on Great Guana Cay.
They asked staff – including Bethel - to hand over their phones for inspection and found WhatsApp messages in which he, Shiver and Newbold allegedly discussed killing Robert, who was visiting his family home in nearby Baker's Bay.
'This n***a rolled up on Lindsay and wouldn't let her on the plane and he put his hands on her. I am about to come out of retirement for this n***a,' Bethel is alleged to have written to his childhood friend.

'He is flying into Baker's Bay, she is thinking about letting me kill him but he has the kids.'
Cops arrested Shiver on July 21, examined her iPhone and discovered she had sent Newbold 'several pictures' of her husband along with a text stating 'kill him,' it's alleged.
The trio were arrested and more incriminating messages were found on their devices, according to a well-placed source.
Robert was vacationing independently of his estranged wife when cops contacted him to warn him about the plot.
When Bahamian authorities informed him of the alleged threat, he branded his wife 'manipulating' and speculated as to why she might want him out of the picture.
'She had an affair with an 18-year-old about a year ago and came to Abaco and snuck him into my house in Abaco,' his statement alleged.
'I found out about it through her Apple Watch and she convinced me that she wants to be a family so we tried to make it work.'
The marriage crumbled for good when he discovered his wife's relationship with Bethell in February, Robert said.

He is now dating 26-year-old reality star Savannah Chrisley, with the latter confirming their relationship on her Instagram.
His family owns property in exclusive Baker's Bay, a members-only golf resort where A-listers such as Michael Jordan, Justin Timberlake, and Tom Brady have sprawling coastal mansions.
But they cut off Shiver's access to the luxurious residence and the family's private jet in April after Robert learned of her fling with Bethel and filed for divorce, citing his wife's 'adulterous conduct'.
Shiver hit back in a counter-filing, accusing Robert of domestic abuse and claiming that any 'extramarital relationship' came after they had already split.

Alabama native Shiver graduated from Auburn University, where the two met in 2007 while Robert was captain of the football team.
Robert signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a free agent but was let go in roster cuts ahead of the 2009 season and eventually became executive vice president for Senior Life Insurance Company.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com in August, Bethel declared his love for Shiver and said her marriage was on the rocks long before he came on the scene.
'None of us have anything to hide. People are taking everything at face value and defaming us,' he said.
