Lionel Messi is making the most of the summer with his stunning wife, Antonela.

The couple were seen posing for snaps with their three sons, Thiago, Matteo and Ciro, while kicking back on a luxurious boat.

The 37-year-old rocked a pair of black swimming trunks as he cuddled up to his young family.

Antonela, for her part, stunned in a pink floral bikini while the footballer's mini-me sons donned colorful board shorts.

'Summertime and them,' they captioned the post, which was shared jointly by the couple on Instagram.

The Inter Miami star is set for an indefinite spell on the sidelines after damaging his ankle ligaments during the Copa America final earlier this summer.

Argentina got the better of Colombia in the final thanks to Lautaro Martinez's extra-time winner.

However, Messi was forced off in the second half of regular time after suffering a nasty ankle injury.

The Argentine captain went down in the 64th minute and needed extended treatment as he immediately looked to the bench, before shedding tears as he left the field in pain.

He did not join his teammates when they returned home to a jubilant Buenos Aires, where fans flooded the streets to celebrate in wild scenes.

But the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner took to social media to insist he was 'fine' and thanked fans for their support.

'The Copa America is over and the first thing I want is to thank everyone for the messages and greetings,' he said in a statement.

'I'm fine, thank God, and I hope I can soon be on the field again enjoying what I like to do most. I am happy, very happy, especially because we achieved the goal we had and Fide (Angel Di Maria ) leaves us but with another Cup.'

Messi is now looking to defend Inter Miami's Leagues Cup title, and is expected to be on hand to support his team when they take on Columbus Crew in the round of 16 on Tuesday.
