With only seven months to go until the 2025 Super Bowl, speculation on who might be headlining next year's half-time show has already begun. 

Usher produced the goods in the coveted slot earlier this year in Las Vegas, and just a couple of hours later, the Kansas City Chiefs edged out the San Francisco 49ers to land their fourth Super Bowl.  

To mark the occasion, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared a passionate kiss on the field in front of a nearly sold-out crowd of 61,5000 fans at Allegiant Stadium.

Next year's American football showpiece will take place at Caeser's Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

But who are the favorites to win the golden ticket amid a year that saw Swift turn into the face of the NFL's marketing strategy?

Miley Cyrus emerged as a red-hot favorite to perform at next year's Super Bowl just hours after Patrick Mahomes and Co. had inspired the Chiefs side to a historical victory - and she is still on top. 

Cyrus, 31, remains the number one in the market, and her price has been cut after rumors intensified about the possibility of the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker performing at the most glamorous sporting event in the world.

The star, who performed a concert before Super Bowl LV in Tampa in 2021, is now into -138 odds to headline the Super Bowl LIX, from +138 earlier this year. She also has the highest probability rate out of all candidates - 57.9 percent.

'I'm down for a Miley Cyrus Super Bowl,' a user said of the speculation on X. 'She can sing and sang. And with her theatrics on stage. Yes.'

Taylor Swift 

One of the big off-field talking points of the last NFL season was Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's relationship with pop megastar Taylor Swift.

Their romance grew throughout the season, just as the Chiefs' season seemed to improve week by week all the way to a triumphant Super Bowl in Las Vegas. In total, Swift attended 13 Chiefs games throughout the 2023-24 NFL season.

Her 'Eras Tour' is set to end in December, which is perfect timing ahead of February's Super Bowl.

And after jetting across the Pacific Ocean to make it on time for kickoff at this year's Super Bowl in Las Vegas, how can anyone rule her out? 

Swift is the second favorite at +100 and with a 50 percent probability rate to land the gig and could be the ideal candidate.

'If Taylor performs and the Chiefs make it for a third successive year it will be the biggest sports event ever broadcasted in America,' an NFL insider told The US Sun.

Lil Wayne

One star who is unlikely to reject the chance to headline the Super Bowl half-time show is Lil Wayne.

Next year's spectacle looks perfect for the rapper, who was born in New Orleans, and he has made no secret of the fact he would love to headline the event.

Wayne, who is +200 third Favorite with a 33.3 percent probability rate, has admitted that he is 'praying' the NFL offer him the gig.

'Fingers crossed. I'm working hard. I'm making sure this next album and everything I do is a killer,' the rapper said on his YouTube channel. 

'I just want to make it hard for them not to highlight the boy,' he added, referring to his own self.

Billie Eilish 

One particular fanbase that would be thrilled at the sight of Billie Eilish performing in the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show is no other than the Baltimore Ravens. 

So, hopefully for the LA native's sake - and Lamar Jackson's, too - the team makes it past the Chiefs and AFC title round, if she does gets named as the main act in New Orleans.

While walking the red carpet at the Grammys with fellow artist and brother FINNEAS just a few days before Super Bowl LVIII in February, Eilish was asked about who she was going to root for between the 49ers and Chiefs.

'I literally have no [team]...' Eilish said at the time before FINNEAS added: 'The idea of infuriating either team's supporters is terrifying to me.'

'Ravens,' Eilish then said.

Eilish is currently the fifth favorite to land the Super Bowl halftime show gig at +300 and with a 25 percent probability rate.

Dua Lipa 

The only foreigner to be tipped to lead America into a frenzy on February 9th, 2025, is the one and only, Dua Lipa.

The British-Albanian popstar, who added the Friday night of Glastonbury to her headline show experience last month, is at 400+ and a 20 percent probability rate to perform in New Orleans, next year. 

She was tipped to go on a date with Ravens star Patrick Queen, last year, after the linebacker asked her out on X. 

Queen said he was inspired by Travis Kelce's courtship of Taylor Swift. 

There's even a 'concept' concert of Dua Lipa performing at Super Bowl LVI's halftime show in 2021. It includes hits like 'Electricity,' New Rules,' and 'Break My Heart.'

Jay-Z

Named as the NFL's Live Music Entertainment Strategist in 2019, Jay-Z and his label - Roc Nation - have revolutionized the experience of the Super Bowl halftime show. 

'The NFL has a great big platform, and it has to be all-inclusive,' the rap legend said shortly after the deal was announced amid protest of racial injustice in the USA.

'They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, that we can do some good.' 

Since being appointed by the league, five years ago, Jay-Z has managed to attract some high-profile artists, like Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, for the Super Bowl Halftime show in 2020.

The next year, it was The Weekend's turn to take center stage, while Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent, formed an iconic tribute to hip-hop in 2022.

In 2023 was the long-awaited return of Roc Nation's very own Rihanna, marking her first live performance in five years while she was pregnant.
