The Olympic Games are in full swing after an action-packed first day and Team GB have already hit the ground running after taking home two medals.

In their best start to the greatest sporting show on earth in over four decades, Anna Henderson claimed silver in the women's road race time trial while divers Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen won bronze to make history.

Today, swimmer Adam Peaty is on the hunt for a third consecutive men's 100m breaststroke Olympic title with the final scheduled to begin at 8.44pm BST. 

There are also a host of other Team GB athletes to keep a close eye on with the likes of Andy Murray, Evie Richards and Chelsie Giles competing on day two.

The legendary rower, who won five gold medals at five consecutive Olympics, describes the atmosphere at Team GB's HQ as 'electric' after their early success.

He also reflects on disappointment for Josh Tarling after the 20-year-old picked up a puncture in the road time trial before coming home in fourth place.

Redgrave is relishing watching Peaty's quest for glory but has highlighted the challenge China's Qin Haiyang will pose in a blockbuster spectacle.

Also on the agenda are tennis great Murray, who will bow out at the end of a storied career in Paris, and two-time Olympic rowing champion Helen Glover.

Glover will begin her fourth Games in the women's four alongside Rebecca Shorten, Esme Booth and Sam Redgrave with the heats commencing from 11.30am BST.

Finally, Redgrave gives his verdict on Giles as she looks to improve on the bronze medal she won in Tokyo when she competes in the Women's 52kg event tonight.

And on top of all that, he has picked out his three athletes to watch today.
