Dr Dre, 59, receives Olympics training offer from archery gold medalist ahead of LA 2028 - and is told he could be good enough to make it

Dr Dre has been told by two-time gold medalist Justin Huish that if he really wants to be an archer at the next Olympics then he'll have to put his mind to it with a bit of his help.

Speaking to TMZ  after the record producer, a.k.a Andre Young, revealed that he is aiming a spot on Team USA's delegation for LA 2028, Huish said that he believes the 59-year-old has what it takes to make it.

'Anyone can do it at any age. There's not really an age limit,' Huish said. 'You can be a phenom and you don't really know.'

Huish, who recently competed in the Outdoor Nationals in Texas, added that he and Dr Dre could easily link up and practice, considering that they both live in Southern California.

'I'll come to your house,' the 49-year-old said. 'I will train you. I will dedicate my time to train with you.'

In addition to his offer, Huish, who won gold twice in the team and individual archery events at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, said he could get Dr Dre everything he needs in order to succeed, including equipment and advice from Team USA coaches.

'If you're really serious about this, hit me up,' he advised the former NWA member.

'We'll make it happen!'

Huish, who didn't compete at the Paris Olympics, is also training for a spot at the 2028 Games, considering that they will be held on 'home soil.'

Just a few days ago, Dr Dre confirmed that he's 'dead a** serious' about his intent to represent the US in archery at LA 2028

He first picked up the sport in middle school and now practices in his backyard.

However, the range at the Olympics is 77 yards while viral footage of the Grammy Award-winning artist shooting arrows shows him roughly 10-20 yards away from the target.
