Hulk Hogan fan, 50, claims she needed NINE stitches after being bloodied in dangerous beer stunt at WWE legend's event in Ohio

Hulk Hogan has landed himself in hot water after a fan of his was reportedly taken to hospital for a serious head injury sustained at an event involving the WWE star.

Emma Harlukowicz told TMZ that her 50-year-old mother needed nine stitches on her scalp after attending festivities at the Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio, where the Hulk Machine made an appearance on Monday.

Hulk was promoting his new brew, 'Real American Beer, ' at the time.

Footage from the event shows the 71-year-old, retired wrestler walking behind people on stage throwing beer cans into the crowd, but not the actual incident.

However, local police were told that Harlukowicz's mom was spotted bleeding and while she didn't need medical assistance to receive treatment, she eventually ended up at a nearby hospital.

Police officers were informed by Emma that her mother needed several stitches near her hairline to close a wound that had been caused by an aluminum can.

But, at first, it was stated in the police report that Hulk threw the can at the woman. That changed when other witnesses claimed the can was tossed by 'another crew member,' according to TMZ.

The viral clip online shows at least five people onstage launching beers to the crowd before a PA announcer could be heard telling organizers to no longer toss them into the air due to safety reasons.

Police ruled the incident to be an accident in its final assessment of the woman's injury.

Earlier this week, Hogan joked about body-slamming Kamala Harris to the ground as he questioned the Democrat's Indian heritage.

Hogan is a well-documented Trump supporter, having attended the RNC in July.
