The Bachelors' Jed McIntosh leaves TikTok star speechless after he kisses him during live interview

Jed McIntosh is set to shock his contestants by revealing that he is bisexual on the new season of Channel 10's revamped dating show, The Bachelors.

And on Monday, the 25-year-old proved he was comfortable with his sexuality during an interview with TikTok stars Luke And Sassy Scott.

During their interview Scott, who is gay, tells the tattooed rocker that he has been 'checking him out online for so long' and he is much hotter in person.

'Thank you so much. Should we have a little [kiss]?' Jed laughs, leaving Scott lost for words.

It comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed that the tattooed musician will surprise his finalists by announcing he is bisexual before handing out his final rose.

Jed, who is open about his sexuality, wanted to 'come out' earlier in the process, but producers insisted he keep it a secret until the end of the season.

'Jed was approached soon after [producers] put out a casting call looking for men who weren't 100 per cent straight, and he was perfect for it,' the source said.

'They're hoping for [his bisexuality] to be one of the big twists of the season, so the contestants have been warned to keep quiet about it.'

Jed is the drummer for Melbourne alt-pop band Mood Monroe. He began playing drums when he was just four years old, and became a professional musician at 13.

He has worked with a string of famous artists, including Kylie Minogue, Pharrell Williams, T-Pain and Sean Paul.

Australia made history last year when Brooke Blurton was cast as the first openly bisexual lead. She chose from a pool of male and female suitors.

This season of The Bachelor Australia is the first to feature more than one leading man, and has been rebranded 'The Bachelors'

The insider also revealed the new season, dubbed The Bachelors because of its three suitors, has 'taken a lot of inspiration from Married At First Sight'.

All three leading men, Jed, Felix Von Hofe, and Thomas Malucelli, get down on one knee and propose to their respective winner in the season finale.

'There will be three engagements at the end, similar to how MAFS do their commitment ceremonies. They will take place at a wedding-style venue rather than somewhere picturesque like they've done in the past,' the source said.

Production company Warner Bros. Australia confirmed in May the upcoming season will see three bachelors looking for love instead of one.

'We are so excited. We're doing a world first. No one in the world has ever had three bachelors, and so therefore the way it works, the way everyone gets to know each other, is very different this year,' host Osher Günsberg said.

'It has already been fascinating. We have been going for a while now and it is already just electrifying what we are seeing.'

The Bachelors will air on Channel 10 on January 9
