Diplo accused of revenge porn by alleged ex of seven years who claims he recorded her 'without her explicit consent'

Diplo has found himself the subject of more revenge porn allegations.

The Grammy Award winner, 45, has been sued by a New York-based woman who claims he distributed sexually explicit photos and videos of her during an alleged seven-year relationship between the two.

The anonymous accuser says Diplo (real name Thomas Pentz) recorded them having sex on several occasions without her permission between 2018 and 2023, according to People.

He then allegedly 'disclosed and/or distributed the images and videos to third parties through text messaging and Snapchat.'

The woman claims she began communicating with Diplo via Snapchat when she was 21 in April 2016, and they began a sexual relationship that June.

During their relationship, which allegedly lasted until October 2023, she says she gave him permission to record them having sex on some occasions, but she 'never gave him permission to distribute those images and videos to third parties and reiterated that he was not to record them without her explicit consent.'

In November, Jane Doe says she was contacted by a third party who was in possession of 'intimate material' featuring the pair having sex, with footage including the accuser's 'genitals, buttocks, and face.'

The accuser reportedly filed a police report that month, and the NYPD issued an arrest warrant for Diplo days later. He is currently under investigation.

'Diplo's actions represent a severe abuse of power and a blatant disregard for human dignity,' Micha Liberty, an attorney for Doe from Liberty Law, said in a statement.

'It is imperative that we, as a society, condemn such actions and hold perpetrators accountable.'

Doe's attorney Margaret E. Mabie of Marsh Law added, 'Our brave client's story is one of Diplo's many worst-kept secrets, and the filing this case is her first step at forging a path to civil justice.'

Diplo was previously accused of revenge porn in 2020 by Shelly Auguste, who also claimed he knowingly infected her with chlamydia.

The Florida artist maintained his innocence at the time in a statement from his attorney Bryan Freedman, who claimed Auguste distributed the revenge porn herself.

He was awarded $1.2 million in 2022 after claiming Auguste harassed him and his family while threatening to release the explicit material.

Auguste resurfaced her allegations in another lawsuit in November, which Freedman called 'an ongoing smear campaign.'

'Now, Ms. Auguste is at it yet again,' said Freedman in a statement to Pitchfork.

'But Wes will defend himself, and, just as he has done every time Ms. Auguste has defamed, harassed and attacked him and his family, he will win,' he added.
