Teen Mom: The Next Chapter: Jenelle Evans explores 'This Time of the Day' cannabis brand based on infamous quote during trip to Las Vegas

Jenelle Evans flew to Las Vegas ready to start looking into creating her own marijuana business on Thursday's episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter on MTV.

'I'm really glad to be out of North Carolina right now,' Jenelle, 32, told her manager August Keen, who met her and already lived in Vegas.

'I bet,' August said.

'I've been dealing with a lot,' Jenelle said. 'There's the pending court cases right now, the no-contact order and then the one with David and Jace.'

Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2 after her estranged husband David Eason shot and killed their pet dog Nugget in April 2019. She revealed earlier this season that she was seeking a restraining order against David who was charged with child abuse for allegedly strangling her son Jace, 14.

August said he had this opportunity with an old business partner of his that was a grower in the cannabis space.

'I know you've always wanted your own cannabis line,' August said.

'I always wanted to come out with a marijuana brand because I've smoked since I've been younger,' Jenelle said. 'It helps me medically, mentally.'

Jenelle said she wanted to be hands-on and test out every product.

'I'm just happy I don't have the obstacle of David in the way,' Jenelle said.

'Because he's kept you from a lot of deals,' August said. 'You can get back to being a businesswoman.'

Jenelle said she got a call from the loan company regarding the dirt bike.

'I feel like I'm enabling him by paying for it but there is nothing I can do. My name is on the loan,' Jenelle said.

A flashback showed Jenelle in an epic fight with her mother Barbara Evans in which she told her mother that it was the time of the day that she liked to smoke weed

'That's not cool,' August said.

Jenelle said she needed a fresh start.

'I might not ever be able to cut ties with David because we have a child together but that's where you have to set boundaries,' Jenelle said in a confessional.

Adriana, director of operations for GreenMed Wellness, came over to meet them. She told them they were the only black-owned dispensaries and they also launched a brand for Whoopi Goldberg before asking Jenelle why she wanted to be a part of the cannabis community.

'A long time ago, when I was on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, it was me and my mom arguing and I was like, 'It's about this time of the day. I want to smoke' and that just resonated with everybody,' Jenelle said. 'That one scene, I thought to myself, ''I need to do something with this relating to weed'' and I thought the best thing would be to start a brand called This Time of the Day.'

'I feel this is a really great time to show who you are and who you want to be,' Adriana said.

'The future of this is going to be great,' said Jenelle, who also expressed a desire to remove the shame surrounding mothers who smoke marijuana.

Jenelle said she wanted to come out with a pre-rolled pack and then expand from there.

The season two episode titled 'Viva Las Vegas' opened with Jade Cline, 27, at her house in Indiana with her husband Sean Austin as they tried to homeschool their daughter Kloie together. She was also excited she had just gotten her real estate license.

'Now I'm doing basically a little bit of everything,' Jade said. 'Homeschooling Kloie, still running my salon and now doing real estate.'

Later, they took Kloie to get an assessment for private school. A few days after the assessment, they found out that Kloie passed the test 'with flying colors.'

Meanwhile, Catelynn Baltierra, 32, was at her house in Michigan with her daughters Rya, Vaeda and Nova and her husband Tyler, 32. They discussed Vaeda's development and how she didn't seem comfortable in loud environments and how her teachers had recommended a special IEP evaluation for her.

Later they went to find out what was Vaeda's assessment. Catelynn started crying and said she just didn't want her daughter to struggle.

'I think that's normal, you are a mom who cares,' Tyler said.

'We met up at Vaeda's school, and we met up with her speech therapist, the principal, her teacher and then another lady and then another lady who does evaluation for sensory issues,' Catelynn said in a confessional. 'We did find out that Vaeda struggles with loud noises, wanting to move or fidget.'

Catelynn said it comes out with her daughter with anger and yelling. She thought about making a calm center for her in the room and making her feel special. Vaeda was excited when she saw it.

'I want her to feel good and do good and be okay,' Catelynn said.

Briana DeJesus, 30, revealed that she had just found out that her mother had been struggling with a drug addiction for a long time and checked into a rehab center. She said she learned that her mother had been addicted to heroin in the past and was now on methadone.

'It's just like so shocking to me,' Briana said. 'I feel like I'm going into this really dark place.'

Briana met her sister at her mother's house to help clean it out. She asked her sister if she wanted to do Al-Anon with her and she agreed. After their first session, Briana said she needed to educate herself more.

'Let's just see what happens,' Briana said, putting her head down on the counter.

Mackenzie McKee, 29, went to the beach with her three kids and her boyfriend Khesanio. Khesanio's mother Angie was coming to town and Mackenzie was nervous about hosting her but she ended up fitting right in with the family.

'You see Mackenzie as your future wife?' Angie asked him when they were alone having lunch.

'I can definitely see it,' Khesanio said. 'I don't have doubts.'

He said they were both doing life over. He said he didn't know when to do it. Angie told him to do it soon.

Mackenzie made Angie tea.

'You make Khes happy, you both are happy and I am happy too,' Angie said.

'Thank you,' Mackenzie said.

Mackenzie said in a confessional she was really happy that Angie came in willing to be the children's grandmother. Khesanio took his mother out secretly to look for an engagement ring.

'You will see my face very soon,' Khesanio said to the salesperson.
