2024 ESPY Awards WORST dressed: Taylor Laffey wears cheesy hourglass dress while Allyson Felix is overwhelmed by flowers and Kysre Gondrezick gets too close to lingerie

The 2024 ESPY Awards featured plenty of striking looks on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, but the ceremony also featured some notable misses and looks that were downright disasters.

The sports-themed awards ceremony was marred by red-carpet ensembles built around garish fabrics, incompetent cuts and unfortunate lapses in taste.

Leading the worst-dressed stars was the model Taylor Laffey, who showed off a white dress that had a cartoonish hourglass figure cut into the bodice and a rippling skirt.

Allyson Felix, the Olympian sprinter, also had a fashion fail with a white mini dress that overshadowed her with its enormous three-dimension flower design.

And the WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick dressed a bit too casually in a black lace dress that looked more appropriate for the bedroom than a red carpet.

The model Taylor Laffey, the Olympic sprinter Allyson Felix and the WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick led the worst-dressed stars at the 2024 ESPY Awards, which were held Thursday at Hollywood Dolby Theatre

Taylor's dress failed at simply supporting her figure, as its bodice with shallow cutouts over her sides made it look as if it was pasted on her.

Even more over the top was the dress' irregularly shaped skirt.

It had a cut-out reaching to the top of her thigh, and the rippling raised skirt looked totally out of place with the rest of the white satin dress.

The model didn't do herself any favors by styling her hair in what looked like a quick and simple ponytail that was out of place with the rest of her ensemble.

She was accompanied by her boyfriend Johnny Townsend, a free-agent punter in the NFL.

The sprinter Allyson Felix wisely showcased her toned legs, but her over-the-top floral dress ended up shrinking her torso and throwing her proportions off.

She was dressed in a piercing white mini dress comprised of many layers of thick, overlapping flower petals that stood out in 3D patterns.

The overly busy look drew attention away from Felix, and it looked more like a novelty item than an actual dress.

She also failed to find footwear or accessories that complemented the flower dress in any way.

The WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, who appeared to go public at the ESPY Awards with Jaylen Brown, was draped in a sheer black lingerie-inspired dress that didn't fit in the bedroom or on the red carpet.

Its lace designs created a confusing, busy mess around her midriff.

The look's long sleeves and skirt didn't make it look any more elegant, and the black velvet train seemed to weigh the basketball player down and looked out of place with the rest of the thin, sheer material.

Other worst-dressed stars included Lindsey Vonn, whose canary yellow dress hung over her shoulders and looked haphazardly rumpled around her waist.

UConn star Paige Bueckers looked cool in an oversize KidSuper mauve suit made of a thick material, but the brand's recognizable doodle that detracted from the fun fit.

Country singer Mickey Guyton's look paired a semi-sheer patterned skirt with a black mini dress top that looked out of place and made her torso look boxy.

Selling Sunset's Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet was dressed in a long white corset dress, but it's rumpled skirt of dangling satin strips looked ragged. She was joined on the red carpet by her ex Jason Oppenheim, who wore a too-tight gray suit with ridiculous draw-string trousers.

Other men at the ceremony tried to spice up their suits, but ended up choosing busy, ugly fabrics.
