Lana Del Rey spent an enjoyable day in New York City with friends on Thursday.
The Diet Mountain Dew singer, 39, looked happy as she and a group of her pals shopped at a bookstore.
Lana – who just released her steamy music video Tough featuring Quavo – wore a grey t-shirt with a white cropped cardigan over it.
Cut-off denim shorts and white sneakers completed her sartorial look.
The Cinnamon Girl hitmaker pulled her long hair into a ponytail, wore sunglasses and carried a pink handbag as she shared a laugh with her pals.

Lana was with four people of varying ages who exchanged smiles and laughs outside the bookstore.
The 11-time Grammy nominee just released the music video for her new song Tough with Quavo.
At her concert in Boston at Fenway Park last month, she brought Quavo out on stage, much to the surprise of her audience.
The show was touch-and-go for awhile as a storm raged through Boston bringing with it lightning strikes.
As the stadium was evacuated, the Summertime Sadness songstress kept her fans updated on social media, explaining that the show had to be delayed 20 minutes every time lightning struck.
She finally took the stage at 10:30pm and wrapped the show an hour later due to time.
In May, Lana revealed that she wrote a song for a James Bond film but it was rejected.
Her song 24 was originally intended to be the theme song for the 2015 007 movie Spectre.

'Sam, you did a wonderful job. One day, maybe...,' Lana told the BBC.
'But I'm going to continue to do my little Nancy Sinatra thing every now and then and just pretend it's the title track.'
