Julia Fox has claimed she quit a project she was attached to for five years due to the alleged racist opinions of a director,

Fox, 34, who recently came out as lesbian, took to Tiktok to lambast the 'white male' director on the mystery project - who she did not name - claiming he did not want to have diversity among the project's cast.

Kanye West's ex said: 'OK, so the craziest thing just happened to me.

'So I’ve been attached to a project for five years. I’ve given creative contributions to it, emotional contributions to it, it was like my baby.

'I even brought on like a major, major A-list icon to play alongside me and everything was going great until this white man director came in.

Fox, 34, who recently came out as lesbian , took to Tiktok to lambast the 'white male' director on the mystery project - who she did not name - claiming he did not want to have diversity among the project's cast

She claimed the director 'was trying to kick me off the project. Meanwhile I’ve been there for five years and he’s been there for a week. I had mentioned [to him] that I really thought it was important to have diversity in our lead cast,” which apparently rubbed him the wrong way.

'He said, "Why? White people have it really hard too. And plus, diversity casting is like using Black people as puppets.’ Meanwhile, we’re actors, we’re all f*****g puppets, what are you talking about?'

She claims he said: 'White people don’t have a duty to cast Black people because so many Black projects happen and Asian projects and nobody gets mad that there’s no white people in the cast.’

'He said "Turn on Netflix, turn on any streamer, it’s all Black projects. Go to India, all the movies in India have all Indian people, nobody gets mad that they don’t have diversity.”'

'I said, "Honey, white people have been the default up until now. Let them have their all Indian movies."

She claimed he responded: 'What are you talking about? Wake up, we are in 2024—this isn’t 2005 or something.'

Fox added: 'It was giving Proud Boy, it was giving All Lives Matter, it was giving white supremacy, and at that point I was done arguing. And I said "You know what, I can’t work with you, I’m done.”'

She said she'd 'grown to love the people attached, the producers, the writers, the other actor in question, and I don’t want to blow up this whole thing for them but I just can’t believe I’m having conversations like this in 2024.

She did not name the project she had been working on.

The star said she had 'cried herself to sleep' after the alleged conversation.

She was supported by pal Emily Ratajkowski who commented: 'Iwant you to name names so bad.'

Earlier this month Fox seemingly came out as a lesbian. She stitched a video from TikTok user @emgwaciedawgie who says, 'I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like "Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him."'

In her response the Uncut Gems star — who recently discussed being celibate — states, 'Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won't happen again.'

The original poster wrote in the comments: 'did i just facilitate julia fox coming out... ily queen.'

This isn't the first time the mother-of-one discussed her sexuality.

In 2022 she revealed she was considering exploring her 'gay bone' and wanted to start dating women during an appearance on Ziwe.

'Like, maybe my ex-boyfriends weren't wrong when they were calling me a lesbian and complaining that I never wanted to have sex with them,' the Italian-born model stated.

She claimed the director 'was trying to kick me off the project. Meanwhile I’ve been there for five years and he’s been there for a week. I had mentioned [to him] that I really thought it was important to have diversity in our lead cast,” which apparently rubbed him the wrong way

The star then noted: '[You] can find love in all places and all races. All [men are] equally horrible to be honest — all men. It's just a man thing.'

And earlier this year she revealed she was celibate for over two and a half years, after previously sharing that she and the rapper were not intimate during their short-lived relationship.

'I just think nothing good comes from having sex, including children. No, I'm just kidding,' the actress quipped during a Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in May.

'I think with the overturning of Roe v. Wade and our rights being stripped away from us, this is a way that I can take back the control.'

'And it just sucks that it has to be in that way, but I just don't feel comfortable until things change.'
