Holiday-maker Samantha McAdams witnessed the spectacle and told MailOnline: 'Everyone was very excited to see them. They came on a transfer coach from Palma airport to the hotel.

'We first saw them about lunch time. We were sitting by the pool and they came past at about 1.30pm.

'Soon enough, everyone got wind and started to wait outside the apartment to see them. Eventually it turned out they were shooting an advert for TUI.

'They waved at everyone at the pool and they went into a private apartment to do some filming.

'Members of the production staff told us they wouldn't have time to do individual photos with everyone, but when they came outside they waved at everyone and high-fived all the children.'

Sam, 39, gushed: 'They were brilliant, exactly how you see them on the TV. They spoke to each of the children and they smiled the entire day.'
