Kim Kardashian details the gruesome accident inside her luxury bathroom that caused shock injury... as she seeks help from plastic surgeon and enters hyperbaric chamber

The glamorous life of Kim Kardashian got a bit gruesome on the penultimate Season 5 episode of Hulu's The Kardashians.

The 43-year-old reality star revealed that she sliced the top part of her left middle finger off in a bizarre bathroom accident. 

Kim was seen entering a posh medical office as we see two fingers on her left hand are bandaged up... after she poked fun at beef with sister Kourtney.

'What happened to your fingers?' a producer asks? Kim responds while walking, 'My big sliding door to my bathroom that opens up and you see the whole window in my bathroom, I was shutting it and there was no latch, so you have to pull the inside of the mechanics out, so I pulled them out like this,' she says, demonstrating that she used her index and middle fingers of her left hand to pull the door out.

'Usually I just stop it with my hand but I pulled it really hard and then Saint ran in with chips and I'm like, 'It's 8:30 at night! No chips!' And then it went 'Boom!' And I was like… uhhh… I literally looked at my hand and fell to the ground.'

They post a title card that reads, 'WARNING: Graphic images in 3, 2, 1…' before showing a snap of Kim's left hand, with the top of her middle finger cut off, bloodied and bruised.

Kim adds in confession, 'And I just like grabbed the table and got on my knees cause I just saw all this blood and it was like my bone sticking out a little bit, and I was just like, 'Get me help!' I was just like, 'I need ice!'

She's seen going into a lush medical office as she adds in confession, 'Like, I didn't scream, I didn't anything, I was just like, "Help."'

She tells the receptionist, 'Two of em, yeah, they're both broken,' continuing in confession, 'Like I literally just couldn't do anything but freeze. You can't even describe the pain but your like whole body goes in shock. It was like more painful than childbirth.'

Kim explains to the receptionist, 'The like tip broke off, so it's like a floating piece,' as they show the X-ray image of a floating piece of bone in her finger.

'I know, I wanted to die and he's like, 'It's a possibility your nail will never grow back, and I was like, 'Oh come on. Come on. I'm gonna invent a nail implant.'

They show a close-up of her middle finger which has a small splint on it as a producer asks, 'Is hyperbaric helping?'

'I think so. I did four hours yesterday, but who has time,' Kim says, as they show flashback to her getting in a hyperbaric chamber.

Kim adds in confession, 'And I just like grabbed the table and got on my knees cause I just saw all this blood and it was like my bone sticking out a little bit, and I was just like, 'Get me help!' I was just like, 'I need ice!'

She tells the employee, 'It's like…' as she shows her a gruesome photo as the employee suggests, 'Can we go to 2.4? That's the higher pressure.'

Kim agrees and climbs inside the hyperbaric chamber and puts an oxygen mask on, before it flashes back to Kim seeing the doctor.

The doctor takes off the splint… as we see the finger… the top completely cut off with dried blackened blood all around it.

'That looks great!' exclaims plastic surgeon Dr. John Layke, as a shocked Kim says, 'You think that looks great?'

'I do, because a lot of that is just a little bit of dried blood and some oozing,' he explains, as Kim asks, 'Is it gonna hurt?'

'No, not at all,' Dr. Layke insists, as Kim asks, 'Are you sure?' He adds, 'That's the good part about peroxide,' as he cleans up the finger.

'I just want to be sure that I will not need this amputated,' Kim asks as Dr. Layke says, 'You will not, 100%,' as Kim breathes a sigh of relief.

'You know what came to mind?' Kim asks, as she pulls up a photo from her phone - a poster from the 2004 horror sequel Saw II that features two gruesome severed fingers.

'I know which one you picked. That martini is wild,' Khloe says, as Kris laughs and says, 'I know,' as Scott Disick arrives with a gift, asking Kris, 'How are you feeling?'

'I'm feeling good,' Kris tells him as he gives her a kiss on the cheek, as Kris continues in confession, 'I'm done with my surgery and I feel great. I feel good. I'm a bit swollen, I'm a bit sore, but good.'

Kris tells everyone in her living room, 'I just got a call this afternoon that said the little tumor was benign,' as Corey asks, 'Why didn't you tell me? Nice to hear, glad it came.'

Khloe adds, 'I just wonder, the first person who was like 'God, my stomach is getting big, and then a baby came out of their vagina, like they weren't concerned that that… like why didn't they kill that person? Thinking that's an alien?'

A dumbfounded Kris only says, 'What?' Corey adds, 'You never know,' as Khloe continues, 'But if they killed the woman and the baby, there would not be people to procreate, so no one was that worried. It doesn't add up here. Why were we just like wow her vagina can spread 10 centimeters and a human comes out, like no one thought that was a witch and killed her? Come on guys, think about it.'

'OK…' a confused Kris says, as she adds in confession, 'I think maybe my meds have started to kick in because I don't know what the f**k these people are talking about.'

Khloe ponders in confession, 'Am I the only one that has these high thoughts? I'm not even high,' as she continues in the living room, 'And, let's just say Eve was the first one to get pregnant, you think Adam was OK with that?'

'Oh, you want us to leave?' Khloe says as Scott says, 'I need to go to my psychiatrist,' and Kris insists, 'I need to go back to bed.'

'Don't worry, I have other things to do as well. Kim and I are gonna go to a prison,' as Scott asks, 'What for?'

'Kim's gonna go and I just like to support her,' Khloe says, as Scott asks, 'Is it for like reform?'

'For reform, yeah,' Khloe says as Scott says, 'That's gonna be crazy, there's gonna be a lot of dudes screaming and s**t,' before wishing her 'good luck.'

The episode cuts back to Kim's home, where she returns from the doctor to find Khloe lounging on her couch, checking her phone when Kim says hello.

Khloe sees Kim walking in black pants with suspenders dangling from the waist as she asks, 'Who wears pants like that?'

Kris lays back on the couch and whispers, 'Oh my God' as Khloe continues her rant

Kris says, 'Wow. I feel like I'm hallucinating,' as Khloe continues, 'And why aren't dinosaurs in the Bible?' Scott laughs and Kris says, 'I love you guys. You must have some place to go'

Kim tries to 'tickle' Khloe with her bandaged fingers as Khloe asks, 'What are you, Edward Scissorhands?'

Kim adds, 'My hand is not OK,' as Khloe adds, 'No, it's not OK.'

'No. I literally cannot believe I slammed it in a sliding door,' Kim tells Khloe, continuing in confession, 'It's been a couple of days since I broke my fingers, and the pain is still like, it's horrible. There's no other way to describe it, but it's all good. I have s**t to do, so this isn't going to slow me down.'

Kim tells Khloe, 'So I met with a therapist again,' as Khloe jokes, 'About your fingers?' and Kim says, 'No no no, just a general therapist.'

'She was like you think calm is your superpower, I think you are so desensitized from trauma that you literally are frozen in fight or flight,' Kim tells Khloe, who says, 'I believe that.'

'So then she was like, 'One time in life, something happened and you remained calm and that worked for you so you will always choose calm.'

Khloe wonders, 'Don't you think your robbery? You weren't calm before,' referring to the 2016 heist where thieves broke into her Paris hotel room and stole $10 million in jewels.

'I love coming home to my sisters just lounging on my couches,' as Khloe says, 'I'm just here for a breather'

Kim adds, 'My hand is not OK,' as Khloe adds, 'No, it's not OK'

That didn't seem to occur to Kim, as she asked, 'Really?'

Khloe says, 'You don't remember that? Kim, you were a lunatic. If someone touched your clothes, 'I was gonna wear that today!' You were like fully dressed, like you became calm.'

Kim says, 'I should tell the therapist, cause she's trying to go back to like childhood, and I'm like…' as Khloe says, 'No, you were never calm as a teenager, in your 20s. You cried about everything, you were bratty, you threw tantrums, everything stopped after you got robbed, because you stayed calm in that situation. You even said, my calmness is what kept me alive. That's when it started. It doesn't take a f***ing detective to figure that one out.'

Kim says in confession, 'I mean, imagine you're like, gun to your head, getting tied up, dragged across a hotel room and the guy, I remember him telling me like just like, 'Stay calm and you'll live,' and I did that and like, it served me well at that time and I think it saved my life. But, I think I've let it get too calm to where people could take advantage of my calmness or I'm just turning into a full robot with like no emotion.'

Kim then admits to Khloe, 'But let me tell you something… Kourtney was right,' which causes Khloe to widen her eyes.

Kim explains, 'I was just like, 'Oh my God,' because she was like, 'Why do you work so much? Why do you do this?' and I looked at her like, 'Are you Kourtney?'

They flash back to a scene with Kim and Khloe and Kourtney where Kourtney tells her, 'I don't think you understand what's driving you and if you don't understand what's driving you, you're not the master of your mind. Knowing what drives you will lead you to your happiness and joy.'

Kim says in confession, 'I think we took Kourtney's question on 'Why do you do what you do?' in like a defensive way at the time, but I think she was just saying like you should recognize I'm running from dealing by staying busy.'

That didn't seem to occur to Kim, as she asked, 'Really?' 

Khloe says, 'You don't remember that? Kim, you were a lunatic. If someone touched your clothes, 'I was gonna wear that today!' You were like fully dressed, like you became calm.'

Kim tells Khloe, 'She also said that she started to watch our show to do a little bit of homework,' as Khloe says with a laugh, 'That's probably not a good idea.'

Kim tells Khloe, 'She said we all need therapy, especially you,' as they both laugh and Khloe says, 'I don't doubt it.'

Kim says, 'I really think you should be on this journey with me and do it with me,' as Khloe says, 'Oh no.'

Kim adds in confession, 'I don't want to be the new Kourtney but I always am, but after going to therapy, I kind of thought Khloe might enjoy having someone help navigate through specific situations in life.'

Kim and Khloe are interrupted when Kim's six-year-old daughter Chicago enters the room, as Khloe asks if she was at dance.

Kim says, 'No, she didn't go to dance because she was singing with Northie,' before asking her daughter, 'How was your part?'

'No I wasn't,' Chicago says, adding, 'I didn't want to,' as Kim hugs her and says, 'That's OK. Never do what you don't want to do.'

Chicago sits on Kim, as she changes the subject and says, 'So I went to New Orleans and I met with Gypsy Rose,' adding it was, 'amazing.'

Kim tells Khloe, 'She also said that she started to watch our show to do a little bit of homework,' as Khloe says with a laugh, 'That's probably not a good idea'

Kim says, 'I really think you should be on this journey with me and do it with me,' as Khloe says, 'Oh no'

'Speaking of like therapy, she talked to me about like how the system works and even someone with like such a severe case as hers, like they told her she was not messed up enough to need therapy and I just thought that was so crazy, but she seemed really strong. She was like an open book.'

Khloe adds, 'I just feel bad for her. That was just her life, from the day she was born. It's sad,' while seemingly getting choked up a bit.

Kim adds, 'So we are gonna go visit the prison. I think it would be really amazing to be able to bring our cameras,' as Khloe adds, 'That's the cool part. I'm excited about that.'

Khloe adds in confession, 'I've done a couple of prison with Kim already, so I'm super happy that the cameras are finally allowed into prison, just for people to have an inside look, into the prison, hear their stories and maybe humanize them a little bit.'

Khloe tells Kim, 'I'm ready,' as Kim jokes, 'What else am I doing?'

The episode cuts to Sydney, Australia where Kourtney Kardashian arrives with her kids Penelope and Reign.

'I am in Australia, we made it. We've been having the best time. Travis is touring to different cities in Australia for about a week, but because I was on bedrest before, and then having a newborn at home, I haven't really had any outings with my other kids, so really I wanted to stay in Sydney,' as they show footage of Kourtney and the kids trying to play tennis… though Reign screams when the ball comes near him.

Kourtney adds, 'Mason is home with his dad, which makes me really sad, but I'm making the most of every second.'

Khloe adds, 'I just feel bad for her. That was just her life, from the day she was born. It's sad,' while seemingly getting choked up a bit

Reign says, 'My favorite part is the ice cream,' as Kourtney admits, 'The ice cream is delish,' as Reign adds, 'and that sucks for a favorite. My favorite is supposed to be going on a roller coaster,' but Kourtney explains, 'We're going on one tomorrow,' which makes Reign smile.

Penelope says, 'Going to the beach and my pit was that there was like a shark attack so I don't wanna go in the water.'

Reign dismisses her comment and says, 'Eh, who cares, one person were gonna get bit, I'll take the risk.'

The nanny Allie Garcia asks Kourtney what her peak and pit has been, as she responds, 'My peak, probably hanging out at Miranda's. I felt like I learned so much from her mom on like the traditions that I wanna keep in my house now with the kids, like how the mom is always cooking and taking care of everyone.'

Allie added that, 'The son was so like helpful,' as Kourtney added, 'And like they all do the dishes together. My pit was the spider.'

They show footage of a rather large spider walking across a white wall, as Kourtney explains in confession, 'So the only reason I could never move to Australia is for the spiders.'

Kourtney tells her kids and Allie, 'I look for spiders everywhere,' adding in confession, 'It's just terrifying and it's just not the way I wanna live my life.'

Reign is seen feeding a horse a carrot, as Kourtney asks Reign and Penelope their 'peak and pit of Australia so far.'

Kourtney admits in confession, 'I'm starting to get a lot of vibes like his dad. I think he's starting to get that sense of humor. I'm like, just what we need.'

They leave the restaurant as Penelope says, 'There's paparazzi right there,' as they show the photographer as Reign yells, 'Hi paparazzi you stalker.'

Kourtney says, 'I don't see us standing out here a long time if that guy's here,' as she adds in confession, 'The paparazzi are everywhere in Sydney. Everywhere.'

They notice the photographer has started running away as they walk the other way, as Kourtney adds in confession, 'Which is why I'm not taking Rocky out, but as much as I would love to stay home and be in my bubble, it's not fair to have my kids all the way in Australia and not take them out to do things.'

They all head to a van as Kourtney tells them, 'We can't let them ruin our whole time,' as the van drives away.

Kourtney asks her kids, 'Do we love Australia?' Penelope nods yes and Reign says, 'Sure,' with an exaggerated wink

They leave the restaurant as Penelope says, 'There's paparazzi right there,' as they show the photographer as Reign yells, 'Hi paparazzi you stalker.'

They notice the photographer has started running away as they walk the other way

The episode cuts back to Los Angeles where Khloe meets Malika Haqq for some lunch as Malika says she loves the squash blossom, which Khloe has seemingly never heard of.

'I have a date with Malika, and yes, it is outside the gates, just wanted to make that clear,' Khloe says in confession.

Khloe asks Malika how her quest to have another baby is going, as Malika admits, 'Actually, very happy that I haven't taken things completely into my own hands, because now I do wanna date,' which Khloe says makes her, 'so happy.'

'And now I'm like what if I do get married one day, maybe I don't…' as Khloe insists, 'When you get married one day.'

'Sorry I have to change my conversation. We've been through a lot this year, you know that right? We do have to celebrate your birthday really big,' Malika says, but Khloe says, 'I don't wanna do really big.'

Malika asks, 'Should we do Eat Pray Love for your birthday?' referring to the 2006 Elizabeth Gilbert best-selling memoir that was turned into a 2010 movie starring Julia Roberts.

Khloe shoots it down immediately, adding, 'That sounds like f***ing a disaster,' as Malika continues her pitch.

'No but it's like, because it's like indirect therapy, it's like the kind of therapy you want to do because it's on your terms,' Malika says, as Khloe asks if she thinks she needs therapy.

The episode cuts back to Los Angeles where Khloe meets Malika Haqq for some lunch as Malika says she loves the squash blossom, which Khloe has seemingly never heard of.

Malika adds, 'I think you should listen to your sister. It's not that bad,' as Khloe says, 'But I've done therapy. I've been to like three or four different therapists.'

Malika asks, 'On your own? Or with other people?' Khloe says, 'Both. I had to see a therapist for Tatum's pregnancy, but I've never connected, like, she just like listens. I'm like, am I supposed to just tell you my life story? Every dark, demonic thing, and you're just gonna be like… OK.'

Malika asks, 'She had nothing to say?' Khloe says, 'No, I never got any guidance, like I'm just listening,' as Malika insists, 'Yeah, she's just not the person for you.'

Khloe insists, 'No, every therapist I've ever seen has done that,' as she adds in confession, 'I was actually told by one therapist that I didn't need therapy, because I process things so matter-of-factly, I don't know. It was a strange encounter and I was like, 'Um, my husband, I found him at a drug den in a motel' and I was saying something and she was like, 'So, do you get upset?' And I'm like, 'No, I mean…' like I was like super-calm, she's like, 'Do you feel angry?' I was like, 'No.' She was like, 'I don't really think you need me.' Like I don't… and I was like, What? Is she firing me? Like I couldn't really understand… like are you breaking up with me? Like I didn't understand what was happening but I think I got broken up with by a therapist.'

Malika explains, 'You've gone through several traumatic events, you need someone to help you find your exit, that's it. It's not that you need someone to tell you how to be Khloe, you need someone to tell you how to see your way out of you hibernating behind the gates for 25 years, like this can't go on forever,' as Khloe just nods her head morosely.

Khloe adds in confession, 'I'm sure I need therapy. I just don't think I'm struggling and I'm like I can't find my way, I need a therapist. I'm like, yeah, OK, I'll try therapy, like I do agree I need to be a little bit more adult social, like once a week. I wanna go to dinners… not plural… dinners… like let's not be crazy. I'm not dating or anything like that but I'm sure once I'm out, like then that's like step two.'

Malika says, 'We kissed a lot of frogs, we're still looking for a prince. You don't wanna do that, talk to different therapists for a little while until we get the other stuff situated.'

'My husband is home,' Kourtney whispers, adding in confession, 'Travis is home, he's back to Sydney,' as Kourtney says, 'How long was that? Nine days?' Travis says, 'It was so long, it felt like so long, babe.'

Kourtney adds in confession, 'And this is the longest that we haven't seen each other since the baby was born,' as Kourtney and Travis get ready for another outing with her kids.

Kourtney continues in confession, 'We haven't been using a nanny or a baby nurse with Rocky at all, but now that we're in Australia, it was important that we bring someone so I could leave the house and go out with the other kids and do adventures with them, and so I really schedule each adventure, like around his nap and then I have a window of being gone for like, two and a half hours is my time where I feel like I'm ready to go back.'

Reign is in the car and waves with both hands and says, 'Hi camera,' as they take off as paparazzi take snaps before they get on a luxury yacht.

Reign comes down and sees Kourtney and Travis kissing as Reign says, 'Stop making out with Travis, bro. Like didn't you just have a baby? Don't get another one this quick,' as they laugh.

Kourtney adds in confession, 'I think it's a beautiful thing to see parents, especially ones that just had a new baby, be affectionate and loving. There's nothing wrong with that.'

'Who has time?' Khloe asks as Malika says, 'Make the time.'

Reign asks Travis, 'Are you giving her a hickey?' Kourtney says, 'No, it's a gentle kiss on my neck. I just missed him.'

'Hi camera,' Reign says again as Travis starts drumming away on the table with his hands.

The episode transitions to Chowchilla, California, where Kim and Kourtney get off Kim's private plane and into a waiting SUV, as Kim asks someone to open a bottle of water since she can't open anything with her fingers these days.

'First we're gonna go to Valley State Prison in Chowchilla and I always have such like a life-changing experience every time I go visit a prison and meet new people, and I think that my family and my friends would really benefit from experiencing this. I know Khloe has such a big heart and I know that she would feel such empathy for the people inside and want to help,' Kim says in confession.

She introduces the other two men in the vehicle with them - Simon Gebrelul and Savas Oguz, who she says are, 'Khloe's best friends, and I just knew that they would love this experience, and I think we need as many voices as we can.'

Khloe asks who else is here, and Kim says, 'Just Scott Budnick and some of the guys, so all of the guys that are with Scott, with our team, they were lifers and they got out and now work for Scott.'

They meet Scott Budnick - founder of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition - which is working towards ending mass incarceration in California.

Scott introduces them to the 'management team at the prison,' adding, 'the backstory is Governor Newsom sent a delegation to Norway, which is known as like the most humane prison system in the world, and then said how do we create prisons here to be the most humane prison systems in California? And this was the first one chosen.'

Kim asks, 'So are there lifers here?' Scott says there are and there are some who have live without parole.

Tristan Lemon, associate director of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations (CDCR), says, 'It's a Level 2, which means it's a lower-level, so you have a population that's gonna be open to trying new things. So we're trying to change the environment of prisons and change the culture of the prison.'

They all head inside, as Scott tells them all to get their ID's out and their passes, as Scott adds, 'This is where they make sure that people aren't escaping.'

They head in through a Visitors entrance as Scott says they are going to building C1, which has, 'a dog training program where they rescue dogs that are about to be killed in the shelter, they train them, and then they give them to military veterans and people who need service dogs. And if you think it's great for the dogs, wait till you see what it does for the guys, who have never had unconditional love in their life, so it's kind of beautiful.'

Khloe asks, 'Do they like when people come and… I don't know what this is called, 'but Scott says, 'Hell yes. They always say when you guys come, they feel normal. We don't feel like we're locked up. We feel human.'

They get to their destination and Kim asks, 'Can we go say hi?' Scott asks, 'Oh God, what is she doing.'

She goes up to several prisoners 'to say hi' and shakes several of their hands… with a security guard between her and the inmates, as one says, 'Kim K for President.'

Another inmate talks to Khloe and tells her, 'I appreciate you guys taking an interest in this program, and really like bringing notoriety to it. It's very important and we really appreciate that.'

They all head inside, as Scott tells them all to get their ID's out and their passes, as Scott adds, 'This is where they make sure that people aren't escaping'

They go inside and meet more inmates with their beloved pooches inside, as Kim says, 'Thank you for having us,' as an inmate says, 'Thank you guys for coming.'

Scott asks, 'Will you guys give us the overview?' The inmate that thanked Kim says, 'It takes anywhere from six weeks to nine months to train, depending on their needs,' as two of the dogs approach Kim and Khloe.

'You know these dogs come from shelters, they come from trauma, so it's up to us to work as a group and as a team to build them up for them to get ready to be adopted and ready to go home. And it also teaches us responsibility, empathy and compassion.'

Another inmate says, 'These dogs are a big part of our community. Some of these guys - this is a Level 2 - but they come from Level 4, Level 3, some guys haven't pet a dog in 20 or 30 years. So when we walk, like, 'Man, can I pet your dog?' And you see the transformation. You can imagine that prison culture tends to dictate that there is no spot for vulnerability or showing any type of emotions in prison. We're trying to change that, because if they're aware of their emotions, it allows for better decision-making.'

Scott asks to 'check out one of the rooms and see how you guys like live in here? Because you guys don't have to be in a crowded room in this building, right? The dogs have some space?'

Someone asks Khloe to sign their 'sticky note,' as Khloe says in confession, 'You know, I'm sure it can be difficult for people to view these men and not think about the victims or the victims family, but what are we supposed to do? Just throw everyone away if they're like f***ing up in life?'

Khloe says, 'Of course, thank you guys,' as one inmate tells Khloe, 'You're the best one,' as Khloe says, 'Oh thank you, bye you guys'

They head into a room where they find a number of bunk beds as Scott jokes, 'Oh, you guys cleaned up nice for them. You didn't clean up for me yesterday, homie.'

Kim asks if the dogs sleep in the room with them and she's told that they sleep in the kennels.

Khloe asks about an inmate's 'dolls' but she apologizes, adding, 'When I said it I regretted it,' though the inmate said that he makes them himself, which impresses Kim and Khloe.

He shows Khloe a figure of Cartman from South Park, and he says he made it out of paper and glue, adding they all made them some.

He says the Cartman one was one of the first ones he made, and he asks if they both would sign them for him.

'Are you sure you want us to ruin it?' Kim asks as Scott says, 'He's 100% sure about that,' as they both sign the dolls.

Khloe adds in confession, 'Prison is painted as incredibly violent and terrifying and just everyone is painted in a more negative light, which I'm sure there are all of those elements, I'm not doubting that, but I don't think we highlight a lot of the creativity and transformations.'

Travis notices that one of the birds, 'is just like levitating, they're not even like moving their wings,' as Reign exclaims, 'Oh my God!'

'We're having lunch on the boat and we invited Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 and his wife Skye. Mark and Travis have known each other forever and Skye is really helpful with me with like navigating life on tour,' Kourtney says in confession.

Kourtney says she's excited to eat and then go to Luna Park, as Kourtney adds in confession, 'Every show, Skye and I are backstage together. You know, she used to bring her son on tour when he was a baby, so it's just really nice to have that connection.'

Skye asks how it's going and if they have held a koala bear yet or not, as Kourtney says, 'No, we're going to the zoo tomorrow, but I think they're like really protective because they're endangered, but I heard they have gonorrhea. Is that true?'

'Wait, what?' Travis asks as Skye laughs and Mark says, 'The koalas all have like chlamydia I think,' as Reign asks if koalas have diarrhea.

Mark asks how the baby Rocky is and Kourtney says he's, 'so good' adding, 'he sleeps in bed with us and it's just like the best waking up to him. He's so smiley in the morning. On the ride over, Scott explains, 'So we have a handful of guys from our ARC program who did life sentences and are now home and now work in these places.'

Khloe's friend Simon asks, 'How do they get out?' Khloe says, 'Like that's what Kim does, like if they were wrongfully convicted.'

They enter a room and find a group of inmates sitting in a large circle of chairs, as Scott introduces the guests.

Kim says in confession, 'I'm just so glad the cameras are here because we do these group settings every time I come because when you get to meet people and hear what their about, really helps you understand just don't judge a book by its cover and even go a little deeper to understand where they came from and why they made these decisions.'

Kim takes a seat and says to the group, 'So if anyone's willing to share anything, I'd love to hear.'

One inmate says, 'My name is Michael Freitas. How are you doing? I've been incarcerated since the age of 18, and I'm serving life without the possibility of parole. I'm 42 years old today. Judge told me that I'm irredeemable, that I would die in prison and they never see no hope, they never see nothing that a person actually can change. Like I can tell you today that I'm in the last semester, I'm gonna get my Bachelor's degree out of Fresno State. Um I don't believe that I do deserve a second chance, but if a second chance ever does come, I'm well-prepared that I know today that I'll never harm another individual ever again.'

'I really hope you get that second chance because you are worthy of that, you really are,' she tells Freitas.

She addresses the group and says, 'I think the hardest part for me is hearing how young everyone was, like I don't think you went in with the intent for that outcome, but you're young, and to not have the hope of a second chance… is insane to me.'

Kim says in confession, 'Some of these people committed these horrific crimes, but they were teenagers and think about how different you are if you're in your 40s and 50s and 60s than you were as a teenager, and of course they're decisions they have to live with and choices that they made and those choices should be punishable, but I do believe that some people should have second chances.'

Another one of Scott's team says, 'One of the things we have in common is trauma. All of us who have been locked up, we all come from traumatic backgrounds and the inability to cope with traumatic experiences are what led us to act out. A lot of us were taught that violence is the option, alcohol is the option, using drugs is the option. We always call it a toolbelt. We were given inappropriate tools on how to deal with life's hurt, but coming to prison like this, you start learning, OK this tool didn't work, this tool didn't work, this tool didn't work, and you put new things in. And the next thing you know, we start teaching each other how to be better people.'

Another inmate named Oscar said he's 'extremely nervous because my sister-in-law loves the show, so if I blow it she's gonna be mad,' as Kim laughs.

Kim says in confession, 'I'm just so glad the cameras are here because we do these group settings every time I come because when you get to meet people and hear what their about, really helps you understand just don't judge a book by its cover and even go a little deeper to understand where they came from and why they made these decisions.'

'You know, hearing Mike talk right now, it reminds me about something I think about every day, what my victim's mother told me when I was sentenced. It was, 'I hope you wake up every day with nothing to look forward to.' And I realized I was living like that way before that even happened. And I have to be better for myself in order to be better for society, because even if I do not go home, I'm encountering people who do go home.'

Kim says in confession, 'I do understand that not everyone feels the way that I feel, but it still doesn't change the empathy that I have for someone wanting to better their life, especially if you don't know their background and their history and what led them to make the choices and decisions they've made, that's where we as a society are not sympathetic and don't take the time to understand where the root of the problem is. We just see maybe their rap sheet and who they are on paper and there's just so much more to them than that.'

Another unidentified inmate says, 'Even though they say I'm never going home, I'm gonna prove that I'm worthy of a second chance, so what I do in my spare time is I try to mentor people informally. I know what it's like to hurt, to feel broken, depressed, sad.'

Khloe tells him, 'It's so important, what you're doing, because it does so much for people's morale, and you know it better than anyone, so don't stop.'

Khloe adds in confession, 'I can really see that this prison model is working. These men are evolving and they're being taught and given the tools as to how to deal with so much of the trauma they once experienced. And if any of them do ever get out, you want them to be equipped with these tools, you don't want them to fall back into the routine and habits that they once lived, and it can't be easy.'

Scott tells the inmates, 'We have to go across the street to the women's prison. I appreciate you guys, I love you, I'll see you soon.'

The episode cuts back to Sydney as Reign and Penelope have fun playing games in Luna Park, as Travis gives a big stuffed animal just for Kourtney… Kourtney explained was 'shut down for us for the day, which is so special.'

'If I'm leaving the baby I want to be super present and make the most out of it and having this memory with my kids and with Travis together is just really special.

Mark and Skye leave the family as Kourtney says in confession, 'Australia really couldn't be more perfect so far, like I'm so happy that I decided to come.'

They all go on a ride called Hair Raiser where they are raised to the top of a platform and then suddenly dropped, which Kourtney called, 'terrifying.'

Reign and Travis go back for another ride as Penelope and Kourtney stay behind, with Kourtney saying, 'No, mom's boobs are now hurting,' as Penelope chides her.

A few fans wave to Travis from outside the gates as he asks them if they're coming to the show tomorrow but they say they have no money.

'We'll put you guys on the list if your parents will let you come,' as they all light up. One asks, 'How much is it?' Travis admits he doesn't know but says, 'Nothing for you guys.'

They don't seem to believe it and say, 'Really?' Travis reiterates, 'As long as your parents say it's cool.'

The episode cuts back to Sydney as Reign and Penelope have fun playing games in Luna Park, as Travis gives a big stuffed animal just for Kourtney… Kourtney explained was 'shut down for us for the day, which is so special.'

They all say their parents will say yes as a few of them call their parents right there, as Travis gets off the ride to take a quick selfie with them.

Kourtney admits in confession, 'I'm used to seeing Travis in action like that because he's super kind to his fans and just always wanting to give people tickets, like especially if they're big fans and they couldn't get them.'

Travis directs the young fans to someone on his team, telling them to give him their names and he'll put them on the list for tomorrow's show.

They continue having fun in Luna Park, including a roller coaster, which Kourtney admits she's not sure if she's ready for as she screams upon going through the twists and turns.

Inmates tell Kim they love her and Kim says she loves them back as one says, 'Help us get out of here,' as Kim insists, 'I am trying, I am trying.'

Kim says in confession, 'It was really amazing talking to the men, right across the street is a women's prison,' as they all sit in a circle in a room in the women's prison.

Kim tells them, 'I'm so grateful just to be here. The first person I ever helped was a woman, and it was her first time, low-level drug offense. I was like, how does this woman have the exact same sentence as Charles Manson? And it just didn't make sense to me. I was super ignorant. I didn't know anyone that had been to prison except Khloe for seven minutes for a DUI,' as Scott jokes, 'Khloe, you got so much cred now.'

Kim says, 'Sorry to embarrass you,' but Khloe says, 'That's what sisters do,' as she adds in confession, 'Oh my God, OK, that's not gonna get me any cred, that I got thrown in a drunk tank. They're not gonna be like, 'Good for her.'

Kim continues, 'I'm just really grateful to be here so thank you for having me,' as Scott asks the inmates to list one thing they're proud of.

A Black woman says, 'Getting my education while incarcerated,' while another Black woman says she got her G.E.D. and two degrees, adding, 'that set me up for a future, a brighter future, where I don't have to do this again.'

Another woman gets emotional and says, 'Just getting my education and becoming the best me because at one point in time I thought violence was the only thing to do. I'm here for being extremely violent but today I'm not violent and like I'm also most proud of my three degrees, this is my last semester and I'm also a dog trainer. I've been doing it for five and a half years,' as they applaud.

One of the women thanks Kim for coming and for, 'reframing, for changing your course, to have the courage to say I'm gonna work on starting getting people out of prison. That's not popular. What keeps me motivated is remembering. As long as I remember, I'll stay motivated. I'll continue to go to school, I'll continue to get my education, because I'm worth more than I said I am, so I appreciate you for having the courage to see us differently. Kim Kardashian came here. We are worth something, y'all.'

'Absolutely,' Kim says as they all applaud, as Kim quietly tells the woman, 'Thank you.'

Khloe says in confession, 'I am so incredibly proud of Kim for all the work she's done for prisons reform and to show she's not just beauty, she's brains, she has so much empathy and compassion for other people. I don't think anyone would have imagined Kim doing prison reform, Kim going to law school, and she's doing so many things that people probably doubted her for and she is changing people's lives, she's changing laws, she's making a difference in this world and leaving an imprint on society that she can be proud of for her children.'

Kim tells them, 'I hear everyone's stories and I'm truly inspired by each and every one of you and thank you,' as they applaud.

Kim says in confession, 'What I'm hearing from a lot of these women is that when they first got sentenced they had absolutely no hope, but then coming here, to this particular facility, with a more rehabilitative perspective, they have a full newfound hope and I think that's the most important thing.'

They all take a group picture as Kim adds, 'The ultimate solution is to have a place that resembles a prison but it just has all of these rehabilitative components to it which I just think is like the future and the only answer to our overcrowded prison systems. I mean it's very clear that the rehabilitation model works. I couldn't imagine a place where it wouldn't.

They all take a group picture with Kim and Khloe as the episode comes to an end.

The preview for next week's Season 5 finale of The Kardashians shows Blink-182's Sydney performance as Kourtney says, 'It's been a really long time since I've been to a show, and I'm so excited to bring all the kids.'
