Naomi Watts sweetly video calls her new husband Billy Crudup to celebrate her Emmy nomination
Naomi Watts has given an insight into her low-key celebrations after her Emmy nomination as she video called her new husband Billy Crudup.
The actress, 55, has been nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Or Anthology Series category for her role as Babe Paley in Feud: Capote vs. the Swans.
And Naomi took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday morning to show fans how she was celebrating her incredible achievement.
She shared a photograph of herself beaming with pride as she sat in her living room on the phone to her actor husband Billy, 56.
Naomi cut a casual figure in a blue linen shirt and framed her face with glasses as Billy congratulated her on her nomination in the sweet moment.
'Sharing a congratulatory moment with the hubster,' Naomi captioned her post.
Naomi has been nominated for her portrayal of New York socialite Babe Paley - the woman at the centre of Truman Capote's group of elite society women, who he nicknames 'the Swans' - in Hulu's eight-part Feud: Capote vs. the Swans.
The drama series follows acclaimed writer Capote (Tom Hollander) as he ruins his friendships with the high-society Swans by writing a thinly-veiled, fictionalised account of their scandalous lives.

At the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, set to take place on September 15, Naomi will be up against Sofia Vergara in the Outstanding Lead Actress category.
Sofia is the second Latina to have even been nominated in the category after Anya Taylor-Joy, who is of Argentinean heritage, was nominated and won in 2021 for The Queen's Gambit.
Juno Temple has also been nominated in the category for Fargo, while Brie Larson is in the running for Lessons in Chemistry, and Jodie Foster also secured a nod for True Detective: Night Country.
Naomi's Feud co-star Tom, 56, has also secured himself a nomination in the Outstanding Lead Actor category, where he will be up against the likes of Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd and Ripley's Andrew Scott, among others.
As well as soaring to huge success on screen this year, Naomi also exchanged vows with her husband Billy for the second time on June 8.
The King Kong star said 'I do' with Billy for a second time in a larger ceremony in Mexico, after their simple courthouse ceremony last year.
Videos shared on social media by Naomi's brother Ben gave an insight into the lavish ceremony, with notable guests including Nicole Kidman and Isla Fisher.

Naomi's child Kai, 15, and niece Ruby were bridesmaids, and also in the wedding party were Naomi's son Sasha, 16, and Billy's son William, 20.
Naomi shares both her children with former partner Liev Schreiber, 56, while Billy shares William with ex-partner Mary Louise Parker, 59.
Naomi and Billy met on the set of 2017 Netflix series Gypsy, in which she starred as a therapist who uses an alias to develop close (and unethical) relationships with people intimately connected to her patients, while Billy played her husband.
The co-stars began a relationship later in 2017, a year after Naomi had split from her partner of 11 years, actor Liev.
