A judge has denied Charlie Sheen's former neighbor's bid to withdraw her no-contest plea to assault charges for attacking the star last year.
Electra Schrock, 48, filed a declaration earlier this month to formally rescind her plea from January – which she claims came after she had been forced to take mind-altering medication in custody after her arrest for the December 20 incident.
She had hoped to 'clear her name', a close friend told DailyMail.com ahead of Thursday's hearing.
In a signed July 9 declaration presented to the court, Schrock claimed she had been unfit to stand trial at the time due the effects of the medications.

Schrock was initially in court on December 26 looking vastly different to how she appeared on Thursday. She lived in the same Malibu apartment building as Charlie Sheen
But during a hearing at Van Nuys Superior Court, Judge Diego Edber denied that she had established good cause for the move.
'The court has reviewed this motion. Good cause is required to withdraw a plea of guilty or no contest,' the judge said.
'The court does not find that the defense has met that burden. No good cause has been shown,' Edber added.
'This court was here when it took the plea from Ms. Schrock. The court does not believe that Ms. Schrock was dealing with any medication issues that could affect her ability to accurately communicate.
'The court did find that Ms. Schrock was answering the court's questions, responding to the court's inquiries, and for those reasons this motion to withdraw is denied.'
Schrock was seen arriving at the courthouse in her first public appearance since she was released from custody earlier this year.
After the hearing, the blonde Buddhist told DailyMail.com she was 'extremely disappointed the judge denied my plea withdrawal, especially considering I was basically poisoned by my own government and never given my constitutional right to a fair trial.'
Schrock was released from custody on January 19 and went into treatment at a Los Angeles facility, which she completed in April

Sheen, 58, was attacked by his neighbor after opening the door of his apartment on December 20
Schrock, who now runs a clothing consignment store in Malibu, was accused of trying to strangle the TV star, 58, after he opened the door of his relatively modest second-floor apartment.
Schrock, who was living in a rented two-bedroom unit on the third floor, was arrested that day and charged with 'felony assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury' over the altercation.
Divorcee Schrock had originally pleaded not guilty to the charges during her initial arraignment on December 26.
She changed her plea to no contest three weeks later and received two years of formal probation with conditional release to a residential treatment program for substance abuse for 90 to 120 days.
But in a court declaration last week, Schrock formally withdrew her plea, citing 'pharmaceutical contraindications directly causing incompetency to stand trial'.
In the document, dated July 9 and obtained by DailyMail.com, Schrock said she suffered medication interactions – including 'uncontrollable body convulsions and hallucinations' – after being forced to take antipsychotic drugs while held in custody at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, 14 miles south of downtown LA.
'I was administered Haloperidol which caused my body to quickly develop severe uncontrollable body convulsions, also known as Parkinsonism, with mild hallucinations,' she said in the declaration.

She claimed to had been made to take one drug from December 23 to January 13, and another from January 13 to January 18 - the day before she signed her no-contest plea.
Schrock was released from custody on January 19 and entered a Los Angeles treatment facility.
In the wake of the incident, prosecutor Nicole Flood told the court Sheen had been left 'quite fearful' following the altercation.
She also revealed Sheen had stitches on his body at the time, and during the tussle with Schrock one stitch had 'come out.'
The Hollywood actor was granted a protective order requiring Schrock to stay away from him for 10 years.
