Barbra Streisand wishes her husband James Brolin a happy 84th birthday: 'Happy birthday to my 28 years together honey'
Barbra Streisand is wishing her husband James Brolin a very happy 84th birthday with a sweet throwback snap.
The 82-year-old actress/singer/director shared an undated image of her and Brolin, who she first met through a friend in 1996 and started dating shortly thereafter.
They tied the knot in July 1988, with Streisand sharing the snap and a sweet message to her husband on Instagram.
'Happy birthday to my 28 years together honey,' she said in the caption of her post, along with a cake emoji.
The sweet post comes months after Streisand came under fire for controversial comments about Melissa McCarthy using the weight loss drug Ozempic.

Barbra was previously married to actor Elliot Gould from 1963 to 1971 and they share her only son, Jason Gould, 57.
James was previously married Jane Camron Agee, who they share two children with, actor Josh Brolin and Jess Brolin.
Josh had revealed years later that his father and mother met on the Batman TV series, where Jane - who passed away in a 1995 - worked as an assistant casting director.
James took to Instagram earlier this month, revealing that their wedding date - July 1 - was also the first day that they met back in 1986.
'28 years today since we met honey… and 26 years today since we married! Love you. B,' Brolin said on July 1 with a red heart emoji.
He also shared a German magazine cover with the couple, adding, 'This is our 26th loving anniversary on Monday July 1st.'
He added, 'I am one lucky dude. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MY SWEETHEART.'
Streisand came under fire back in late April when she left a comment on Melissa McCarthy's page in regards to her slimmed-down appearance, 'Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?'

She ultimately deleted the comment, and later responded on her own Instagram, 'OMG - I went on Instagram to see the photos we'd posted of the beautiful flowers I'd received for my birthday!'
'Below them was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy who I sang with my on Encore album,' she added.
'She looked fantastic! I just wanted to pay her a compliment. I forgot the world is reading!' Streisand said.
McCarthy also spoke publicly on the remark, attempting to brush off the drama as she said: 'Barbra is a treasure, I love her!'
