'Bleecker Street is furious at Susan for the way she's been carrying on. So is Bette, who is a proud Jew and hates what Susan is doing,' a movie insider said.
'Sheryl is upset at her too, as is Megan Mullally, the whole crew and cast are. It's a mess. Her co-stars are disappointed that so many people worked so hard on it, and now Susan is ruining it for everybody.'
Since Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel - which triggered Israel's retaliatory campaign in Gaza - Susan has attended multiple pro-Palestine events.
Weeks after October 7, she controversially declared: 'There are a lot of people afraid, afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence.'
Susan was heaped with opprobrium over the remark and subsequently apologized but has remained otherwise steadfast in her activism for the Palestinian cause.
