This evening's performance in London was said to be 'the hardest concert of her career' after three little girls were killed whilst at a Swift-themed dance class on the Merseyside.

While she did not mention the stabbing explicitly, the three innocent victims are said to have been in Swift's thoughts, who is said to have been 'shaken to the core' by the incident.

'Taylor may not have spoken about Elsie Dot, Alice and Bebe on stage but she has reached out to their families,' an insider said tonight. 'It is something that has weighed heavily on her mind.'

Tonight's show marked Swift's first performance since the foiled terror plot in Vienna and the killing of three young girls at a Taylor-themed dance class in Southport.

But the singer, 34, did not acknowledge either incident at tonight's performance.

The BBC reported that Taylor has privately reached out to the families affected by the Southport attack.

While hugging him, she described him as a 'second brother.'

She said: 'Now he is someone that plays Wembley like every week. This is regular for him and he works so hard.

'He's probably so tired but he wanted to come play for you and do this for all of you.'

Taylor is now behind her piano playing a mash-up of King Of My Heart and The Alchemy.

Tayor's long-term pal Ed Sheeran has come out onstage to perform Everything Has Changed.

Just as the Swifties predicted.

Oh, and now they've added Ed's own chart-toppper Thinking Out Loud.

In the acoustic section of the show, Taylor performs a set of songs on her guitar and piano. But the catch is - she never sings the same song twice.

What will tonight bring?

The first song is Everything Has Changed from her album Red which originally featured Ed Sheeran. Hmm... how interesting...

At every performance of the Eras Tour, Taylor's team handpicks a fan from the crowd to receive the hat she wears during the song 22.

Tonight was the turn of a little girl with blonde hair who looked ecstatic to meet her idol and give her a great big hug.

Taylor is the queen of Easter eggs - using clues in her costumes, lyrics and Instagram posts to point to an imminent announcement.

This time around some fans believe that Taylor will announce the re-recording of her 2017 album Reputation.

The clues? There have been various stage malfunctions in recent shows which could point to a new album.

It could also point to the inevitable teething issues Taylor's tech team faces as they move from venue to venue... but who am I to say?

As fans flocked inside Wembley, hundreds of police officers and private security guards were surrounding the area.

One sweet moment captured a Met Police officer trading a friendship bracelet with a young fan as she stood outside the concert.

Trading friendship bracelets at Swift's concerts has become a ritual with fans since the Eras Tour kicked off in Arizona last year, with Swifties spending hours making the beaded bands.

The tradition is thought to have originated from a lyric in Swift's song You're Own Your Own Kid where she sings: 'So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.'

Ticketless Swifties have disobeyed the venue's advice by gathering outside to listen to the concert.

After the terror scare in Vienna, Wembley told non-ticket holders they would be 'moved on', putting an end to so-called 'taygating'.

Advice on Wembley's website said: 'To support the safe entry and exit of everyone within the stadium, no one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium.'

But despite the advice, Swfities are soaking in the atmosphere from right outside.

After singing Champagne Problems, the singer received a three-minute standing ovatoin from the audience at Wembley.

Fans stomped and cheered for so long that Taylor took out her ear piece to take in the atmosphere properly.

Asked whether he was excited to be there, Elba said: 'Oh my God, yeah. Can't you tell?'

But when asked whether he considered himself a Swiftie he moved from side to side and looked uncertain.

Elba, who starred in Cats with the singer, said his favourite Swift song was London Boy - fueling rumours that she will sing her 2023 hit as one of her surprise songs.

The Wire actor exchanged friendship bracelets with Sienna Lorenz, 19, a student at Nottingham University.

Ms Lorenz said: 'I gave him a London Boy bracelet and it broke as soon as he touched it so I gave him the Style one.'

Swift, 34, showcases an array of sequinned ensembles during her concert.

From a bejewelled bodysuit to a ballgown, Taylor changes her outfit sixteen times throughout the show.

But there are different colour variations of each get-up and before each concert, fans place bets on which version she will be wearing.

So far today she has worn a pink and blue bodysuit, a silver blazer, a black and gold tassled dress, a shirt reading 'A lot going on at the moment', a black and red bodysuit with a matching cape and a purple ballgown.

Among the glittering crowd is Bailey Heath who was crowned 'MTV's Ultimate Stan' after taking part in a Swift-themed game show in which he had to answer 72 questions about the singer.

The 23-year-old is attending the concert with his four siblings who travelled from Canada, Budapest, Bristol and Surrey.

He is wearing a cropped black tee with the word 'Rep' on it, as a nod to Taylor's 2017 album.

Recalling the game show, Bailey said: 'It was actually really hard questions, it was "What was her brother's star sign?", "What was her football team in high school?"

'Don't ask how I know them all. It's a lifestyle choice.'

In the wake of the foiled terror plot in Vienna, the Met Police announced they are 'well prepared' for the concert in London.

A group of four students - Reeba Tovee, 19, Imogene Gatherer, 20, Ellie Behan, 19, and Carrie Ferguson, 19 - told of their relief to hear of the increased security.

Ellie said: 'I'm also so excited for the atmosphere and all the girls, everyone is going to be there, it's like girlhood. When you go to a club you don't feel very safe, but I feel like this going to be so supportive and safe.'

Reeba added: 'I was praying this wasn't cancelled. I know they've put a lot of extra security in now.

'When the news came out, we were all very nervous but seeing the extra security measures that have been put in place makes us feel better, there have been lots of accounts on X and TikTok saying what the safest way to get there is.'

Dedicated fans of Taylor Swift have been queuing overnight for a chance to get up close and personal with their idol.

Coco is the first person in line for the gig and revealed she has been camped out since 11am on Wednesday to 'get the best spot'.

The 19-year-old travelled three hours from Surrey to be first in line.

She said: 'We wanted to come as early as we could, we wanted to be the first ones because you get the best view and you have the most space.

Coco, who bought the £275 VIP package ticket over a year ago, said the experience has already been 'really fun' and that the atmosphere with fans making bracelets together is 'really nice'.

Wembley can seat up to 90,000 people - and there is no doubt it will be packed out tonight.

Those without tickets often listen to the three-and-a-half hour set from outside the stadium - in a practice called 'tay-gating'. Unfortunately, Wembley have advised fans not to congregate outside during the show due to the Vienna security scare.

But with tickets being re-sold for up to £2,200, you may be wondering what makes a Taylor Swift concert so special?

Well, let's hear it from the Swifties themselves.

While high street fashion chains such as Primark have seen an influx in the number of people searching for silver cowboy boots, some Swifties have decided to go down the DIY route for their concert outfit.

One was dressed up as a ghost, although the all-important friendship bracelets could still be seen.
