The five homes worth £12million that prove Richard and Judy were daytime TV's hottest properties

They have one of the most successful and best-loved partnerships in British TV history – so much so that they even had a show named after them.

And Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's enduring appeal and chemistry has earned them not just fans in the millions, but a global property empire worth millions too.

Best known for presenting ITV's flagship daytime show This Morning before moving on to hosting their own chat show Richard & Judy, the couple have built up a glittering portfolio of homes around the world.

At last count, they have five properties – with a combined estimated value of nearly £12million.

When This Morning moved from Liverpool's Albert Dock to London's television studios back in 1996, Richard, 68, and Judy, 76, purchased a picturesque mansion for £1.2m in the leafy borough of Barnet.

The five-bedroom detached house stands in well-manicured grounds close to Hampstead Heath and the stately home Kenwood House.

Property website The Move Market estimates its value at a conservative £6,867,000 – another property on the same street recently sold for £19million.

The TV golden couple fell in love with the stunning landscapes of Cornwall four decades ago, calling it their spiritual home.

After enjoying annual holidays there, they paid £190,000 for a stunning four-bedroom home set in six acres of land in Talland Bay, near Polperro, in 1995.

Over the years, they have added improvements including a conservatory, 20m-long swimming pool and a hot tub with a view of the sea. The house is now estimated to be worth seven figures.

The glamorous French Riviera is the setting for a third home – a gorgeous villa equipped with a swimming pool in a town close to Cannes.

It was reported to be bought by the couple for £1m in 2004 – it is likely to be worth at least £1.5m today.

Richard, who now hosts Good Morning Britain, and Judy, who has moved away from frontline presenting to focus on writing books, like to base themselves there for most of the summer unless work calls them back early. Neighbours include former Rolling Stones bass guitarist Bill Wyman.

Homes four and five are across the Atlantic in the sunshine US state of Florida.

The couple, self-declared 'big fans' of America, discovered the Florida Keys after taking their children Chloe and Jack on 'the best holiday' to Disney World in Orlando.

In 1998, they bought a three-bedroom townhouse in Buttonwood Bay – a luxury 280-unit gated waterfront community and harbour where homes start at £1m – in Key Largo.

Richard, who spent his 60th birthday enjoying the rides at Disney World, snapped up another three-bedroom property in the same resort several years later, perhaps to fit in their growing brood of grandchildren.
