Sabrina Carpenter hints at VERY awkward Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello love triangle in spicy new album tracks

Sabrina Carpenter dropped her anticipated album Short n' Sweet on Friday - and seemingly hinted at a love triangle with past rumored flame Shawn Mendes and his ex Camila Cabello.
The Espresso hitmaker, 25 - who kissed Jenna Ortega in the gory music video for her song Taste - was embroiled in short-lived romantic speculation with the Stitches singer, 26, earlier last year.
And in an assortment of tracks from her sixth studio album, the beauty appeared to possibly sing lyrics aimed at Mendes and Cabello - although she did not use any names.
In the song, Taste - which is the first tune on the LP - Carpenter seemingly mentions the Canadian performer, who is often spotted going shirtless on outings.
'You're wonderin' why half his clothes went missin'/My body's where they at,' Sabrina could be heard singing.

Elsewhere in the track, the star also sings lyrics about being in the middle of a lover's on-and-off again romance.
Shawn and Camila first started dating in 2019 until their split two years later in 2021 - and appeared to briefly reunite in 2023.
'I heard you're back together and if that's true/You'll just have to taste me when he's kissin' you/If you want forever, I bet you do/Just know you'll taste me too.'
In February 2023, Carpenter and Mendes first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted on a stroll together in L.A.
The following month, the pair were seen together once again as they left Miley Cyrus' album release party.
But in April 2023, the Mercy singer was spotted kissing Camila while attending the Coachella Music Festival in California.
In Sabrina's song, Coincidence, she appeared to hint at Mendes and Cabello's affectionate reunion at the festival.
'What a surprise, your phone just died/Your car drove itself from L.A. to her thighs/ Palm Springs looks nice, but who's by your side?/D**n it, she looks kinda like the girl you outgrew,' she sang.

In the same track, Carpenter belted out lyrics regarding a love triangle - and could possibly be another reference to Shawn and Camila.
At the beginning, she sang, 'The second I put my head on your chest/She knew, she's got a real sixth sense.'
'Now her name comes up once, then it comes up twice/And without her even bein' here, she's back in your life/Now she's in the same d**n city on the same d**n night.'
In another song off the album called, Dumb & Poetic, Sabrina sings about an ex who is into meditation, but is also manipulative.
'Cherry-pick lines like they're words you invented/Gold star for highbrow manipulation/And "love everyone" is your favorite quotation,' the lyrics included.
The songstress also could be heard singing, 'Try to come off like you're soft and well-spoken/Jack off to lyrics by Leonard Cohen.'
Both Mendes and Cohen are from Canada, and Shawn also sang Leonard's song Hallelujah during some of his past shows.
Shawn has also been open about his journey with meditation and told Vogue back in 2021, 'I had definitely sat down a couple of times and done a meditation on YouTube...'

Also in the track, she later sings about an ex taking mushrooms: 'Save all your breath for your form meditation/You're so empathetic, you'd make a great wife/And I promise the mushrooms aren't changing your life.'
Mendes admitted that he has experimented taking mushrooms during a recent London concert, per The Sun.
'I simultaneously really do know who I am, but I also have no f***ing clue,' he explained to the outlet.
'I'm just figuring that out. I was going through a lot and exploring things. I don't know if anyone here has ever tried mushrooms but it's a crazy thing.'
In the song, Sharpest Tool - which is the fourth track on the album - Carpenter sings about an ex possibly going back to a past lover.
'We never talk about how you/Found God at your ex's house, always/Made sure that the phone was face-down/Seems like overnight, I'm just the b***h you hate now.'
While she could be taking aim at Mendes, Sabrina could also be hinting at another past romance with Disney channel alum, Joshua Bassett. The pair first sparked romantic rumors in 2020, but seemingly split the following year.
