'We're very friendly exes!' Jennifer Lawrence reveals she chased 'hard to get' Darren Aronofsky for NINE months... as actress admits she 'still loves' her 'awesome' former beau
Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that her ex-boyfriend Darren Aronofsky played 'hard to get' for nine months as she pursued a relationship with him.
During an interview on Marc Maron's WTF podcast on Monday, the Oscar-winning actress, 27, also admitted that she 'still loves' the 49-year-old film-maker, despite their two-year romance having come to an end back in October.
Recalling their meeting over the 2017 movie Mother!, she said: 'I was like, he’s hot... I remember I was holding my dog and I shut the door and when the door shut [after Darren left] I went, "Pippy that’s called sexual tension." He played hard to get for like nine months, maybe longer, which just killed me.'

During the gushing interview, she also admitted that she still has feelings for the director, who has an 11-year-old son with his former fiancée Rachel Weisz.
She continued: 'I mean, if we count everything, like two years. I had been saying two years for so long and he was like, "It’s been like, six months!" I think two years. I mean, I was in love with him for like, two years. I still love him very much.'
'Darren's wonderful,' the Hunger Games star added. 'We're very friendly exes.'
The Dior muse then boasted that she's still friends with 'all' of her exes like her on/off British beaus - Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult.

'I have a theory, I think it's because I'm blunt,' Jennifer said. 'I don't think that you can have any sort of bad relationship with anybody if you're just blunt.
'Everybody always knows how you feel at all times and there's no lying. It's just honesty. All of my boyfriends have been wonderful.'
When Marc Maron asked Jennifer if she had ever had her heart broken, she said no.
'Um, no. Broke other stuff, I didn't mean it like that, I meant like confidence,' the blonde beauty claimed. 'I mean, my heart breaks every time I go through a break-up.

Impressed: She said of her first meeting with Darren, 'I remember I was holding my dog and I shut the door and when the door shut I went, "Pippi that's called sexual tension"'
'It's not like my heart isn't broken. They never did anything to, like, devastate me. They're just good people, maybe that's the secret. I'm attracted to good people. It's really weird.'
Meanwhile, Jennifer previously admitted she thinks she is going to be 'devastatingly lonely' in the next few months as she is now in 'single mode'.
She said in an interview published by The Mirror: 'I am in the single mode where I am like, "Cool, I can do whatever I want and I can be alone and watch terrible TV."
'And then, of course, in a few months I will be devastatingly lonely and feel like I'm on some long waiting list. But I am not there yet. People think my life must be different but it's actually pretty normal.
Friendly exes: She also revealed that she's still friends with 'all' of her exes, who include her former British beaus - Coldplay frontman Chris Martin (L) and X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult (R)
'I've always been a homebody and my social life has always been very boring. I sit around outside my house with my friends and drink wine, and that hasn't really changed. I don't like to go out.'
The three-time Golden Globe winner's comments come shortly after she blasted rumors she was the reason behind the separation of her Passengers leading man Chris Pratt and his wife Anna Faris.
'I never had an affair with Chris Pratt on Passengers. That's a good [rumor],' Jennifer told KISS FM UK on Monday.
'I mean, they got a divorce like two years later and everybody was like, [shouting] "Jennifer Lawrence!" And I was like, "What the...what, I'm in Montreal two years later."'
