McDonald's declares 'everyone's favorite sandwich is back' - but you'll have to be quick

McDonald's has revealed it has brought back two fan favorites to its US menus this summer, but for a limited time only.
A popular burger is returning, as is a special McFlurry flavor.
The fast-food giant announced on Monday that it is reintroducing the much-loved Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
The company will also offer a version of the burger that comes with two patties. They are already in restaurants.
'Everyone's favorite sandwich is back,' the much-loved chain said in a statement.

'Get ready to experience a sweet and tangy, savory and garlicy sauce that has a lingering smokiness.'
The large burgers first hit menus in November 2022 and feature a quarter-pound beef patty topped with American cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, Roma tomatoes, lettuce and a 'special, smoky BLT sauce' on a bun.
They will be joined by a new item, the Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry.
The new frozen dessert is made with vanilla soft-serve ice-cream blended with bits of Kit Kat candy bars and 'real banana, strawberry clusters,' McDonald's announced.
Both the Smoky BLTs and the new McFlurry will be available for a limited time only, however the company did not specify how long the period will be.
McDonald's has been launching more new items and deals this summer to bring in customers.
It's $5 value meal hit restaurants last month. Customers also get four items - either a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, fries, soft drink and four McNuggets.
Last week, the chain said it is bringing its first-ever garlic sauce to the US.

The Special Grade Garlic Sauce is inspired by the Black Garlic Sauce found at the Golden Arches in Japan.
It is good news for McDonald’s fans wanting to see more international menu items coming to the US.
McDonald's last month launched two new versions of its McShaker fries - and fans saying they are 'life changing'. One has spicy masala flavoring and the other sweet churro flavoring.
But in a blow for fans in the US, the new fries are only available in Canada.
