“The world is a busy place filled with many busy businesses, both the Godly and the ungodly. It means before you go on to accept any activity or event that comes into the world, you must weigh its Values, examine the Virtues, listen to Views and then you give your Verdict. Satan is not wise; he is just crafty!”

“Make a change of your steps when necessary. “Status quo” is the court room where change is kept on trial for long, delaying the verdict. Make a change and achieve your dreams. Rule your case with victory.”

“The most successful are not the most perfect, but the imperfect who dare to believe that they can despite the damning verdict.”

“On behalf of Soumya..
-Zainab Zubair Malol
You can love me
You can hate me
You can take me
You can break me
Simply cos I'm a girl
And you're not.
You're not rich
Neither am I
But you won
And I became none!
Simply cos I'm a girl
And you're not.
You've now become a hero
And I've come to such a zero
But little do you know
That your winning is as short as a drop of snow...”

“You are wrong. She defied us the moment she rejected our verdict and opposed her sentence. The laws she undermined are the ones that preserve our order, bring our children into this world, rear them, and protect them up to their deaths. Regardless of how she may have deemed her sentence, refusing the verdict was a crime on its own. The worst crime. What would happen to our society and the peace we value so dearly if actions like hers were left unpunished?”

“My workday begins at eight-thirty a.m.
Turn on computer, get coffee, log on to JEMS.
Read my emails, and respond to some.
Turn on the radio, and begin to hum…
…to the Captain on Ocean 89
Any type of music soothes this my mind.
By 9am the Magistrates begin to come
Wor. Wolffe, Warner, Tokunbo, Chin and Anderson…
…ready to give fairness, decisions, reasons and some.
I then go thru my spreadsheet of outstanding Appeals
My job to prepare them is quite a big deal.
Appeals are then sent to Chief Justice Kawaley.
Each case is met with consideration and commentary.
By 10am I attend to Plea Court
New cases range from speeders, DUI’s and all sorts…
Defendants are called by name, charges read out and defined
“Not guilty” or “guilty”…”just give me my fine”…
…then 10 minutes later Bernews reports cases online.
Never 2 days the same, in the lower Courts.
I don’t complain, I enjoy it, I’m there to support.
16 years in total in this line of work…
I love my job as a Magistrates’ Court Clerk!! ❤️”

“Today, millions of people from around the world are tuned in to this hundred-year-old courthouse, designed in the neoclassical style and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's a building that stands as a proud symbol of American justice. Over the last several weeks a murder trial has been unfolding here, and the media attention it's gotten has been ferocious.”

“A verdict is neither a vote nor a consensus nor a customary decision; it is the interpretation and conclusion of the constitution and law, and judges set it accordingly in the context of that and ensure its implementation.”

“When the eternal God looked at my record and said, “Michael is found guilty, the penalty of his crimes is death and his crimes must be paid for in hell,” Jesus didn’t just sit there pleading for my forgiveness saying, “Please forgive Michael. Please have mercy on him.” No, He made a case for me and got a verdict on my behalf. He took the penalty on Himself and fulfilled everything that the law required.”
