His tales are like a riveting saga of thriller novels. Will he finally see the medical establishment corruption as opposed to presenting them as poor researchers? In the Case for Keto we hear his own story and struggle with his weight. In my head I compare his version of keto to GAPS, a healing diet by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride. Here is one small example of the difference: on GAPS, raw honey is considered healing and is allowed. One of his examples of keto showed ranch dressing. No way would ranch dressing be allowed on GAPS; how does Gary Taubes know what is in that ranch dressing? (sugar? vegetable oil? some manufactured ingredient?). I'm waiting for him to discover who bribed Ancel Keys. The book ends with uplifting stories of children who discover eating LCHF diets give them energy and strength they never knew they could have....more
