wow. i wasn’t the biggest fan of warner in the first book but dang.

i kind of love him now 🤭🤭

his pov is so eye opening and interesting and i just want to hug him like—😭✋ and i loved delalieu like he was so cute!!

also aaron warner is a confirmed short king??? in a world of ‘his large frame’ and ‘he towered over me’ and ‘his massive tree trunk like body’ he is a king and we love him for it 👑

overall im so glad i read this novella after the first book because it really made me understand warner and i can’t wait to read the next book!!
