I think so. I'm obsessed with the GOT universe. I got the audios to make it easier on myself lol. They're lengthy but there's not that many of them. A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, A Dance with Dragons and then Fire and Blood for the Targaryen history which is House of The Dragon.

I'm so tired of being in GOT groups and not knowing certain things lmao.

Also, I know he's not finished with the series yet but I plan to read a ton of fan fic where Jon Snow gets the iron throne. Not Bran and not Daenerys 😭😂

I watched only the show, but I love Alicent and can understand team green. It’s think she was more complex character than Rhaynira. This is why I am neutral. I understand that Rhaynira was meant to be on the throne, but I love Alicent more. Also I hate Viseris. He is a rapist and abuser. It was Alicent who took care of him all the time. She is more wise. Rhaynira just more brave to rule. Also I love evil women and hate Daemon in the show. I think there is no right side to support. Everyone is right and wrong in their own way.

Well, you're brave for that but also wrong. It's the kings law that who he names as heir and successor is to sit the throne. The greens usurped the throne from Rhaenyra and so are clearly wrong. Just because Alicent wanted her rapist son to sit the throne does not mean that he rightfully gets to.

She knows damn well on his death bed that he was not saying that Aegon should take the throne, he was out of it and thought he was talking to Rhaneyra. He literally almost crawled to the throne to give his rule and law as king that it is to be his daughter who will be queen.

I can not wait for them to be extinguished from the earth. And they will be. 😊🖤

I do not see everything black and white. Alicent ( delusional one yes) sees herself as a victim who wants a "reward" for herself and Rhaynira is a daydreamer who have never fought in battles unlike Aegon ( in books), and all she did while Alicent took care of her father was fucking with a guard. She would not be supported by simple people at that times as she is a woman. She should be realistic. As JJ Martin said there is no right or wrong but you def can pick a side. As i know niether of the sides will win( i know in the end it is Rhaynira's son, but it def was not a win in war). So I am not wrong. There is no wrong. It is politics. There is a decision and its outcome. And as I already said I am neutral.

I see it like this- Alicent is the wife of Viserys, it should be her responsibility to take care of her husband and not his daughters. She was raising her own children by the time he actually really started to decline. And she was living at dragon stone by then anyway because of the rift caused by Viserys marrying Alicent and her creating the divide by repping her house loud and clear because she did not support Rhaneyra. I can understand and sympathize with her fear for her children bc yes Aegon would have always been a threat to Rhaneyra. But she chose to play the game with her creep of a father and manipulate the king and the realm. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

There were plenty of high lords and houses that supported Rhaneyra, that's why Otto and Alicent had them killed once the king passed. If you have read the books and know the history then you know that the Targaryen line goes through Daemon and Rhaneyras children and not the greens. Ultimately the blacks do win.

I also see it more black and white because there is kings law and then there are those that defy it and sneak and plot. I don't see Alicent as evil, I see her as a weak jealous girl.

I love them. The books are so in depth. I would really highly recommend the audios if you want to give them a try. Top tier narration and easier to get through.
