Going to in-person conferences is way more important (and fun!) than you might think! Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of leading Evergent's experiential marketing initiatives at the The StreamTV Show in Denver 🇺🇸 And this experience was everything I had hoped for! The list is long but here are 5 ways in which it added so much value both personally and professionally: 1. Meeting some amazing Women in Streaming Media like Olivia Cousins Meher Ramya Dheram Izabelle M. Meeka Bondy and many others, gave me a glimpse into how women are making waves in this dynamic industry. Thank you Megan Wagoner, MBA for organizing it! 2. Having 1:1s at our booth and hosting a dinner for our MVPs gave me and my team an opportunity to build genuine, lasting relationships over shared stories and laughter. Listening to our prospects’ stories and challenges firsthand gave me deeper insights into the market needs and trends. 3. Teamwork truly makes the dream work! 🎉 5. New Friendships: Huge shout-out to the organizers at Questex—Marrysa Moyer, Kevin G. and Sarah Joy Lagunzad. for and amazing partnership over the past 2 months and building a great friendship along the way. My 2 cents? When it comes to customer obsession, in-person events work magic. They transform challenges into opportunities and spark collaborations that drive real change.
