We’re excited to announce that KoinWorks has raised $108 million in Series C funding to bring more access to underserved small-to-medium-sized enterprise businesses (SME’s) and entrepreneurs.  Although Indonesia is one of the world’s largest economies, access to adequate finances is a significant problem most SMEs face when trying to scale their business. This round of funding led by MDI Ventures hopes to help SMEs gain footing in emerging markets such as Indonesia.  Since our founding in 2016, we have remained committed to keeping entrepreneurs’ success in a growing economy at the forefront of our vision. Exciting Times in Kediri! 🚀 On June 11, 2024, OJK hosted a financial literacy event in Kediri entitled "Smart Choices in Utilizing Financial Technology" with participants from the local entrepreneurship training program. This event aims to empower local MSMEs, driving their growth and innovation. One of the key takeaways from the event is the survey on the role of fintech lending for MSMEs: - Impactful Loans for MSMEs: Insights indicate that loans from fintech lending significantly enhance production flow for MSMEs. - Positive Influence on Business Development: 42.6% of participants noted that fintech lending contributes positively to strategic business development. - Empowering Growth Strategies: Approximately 30.6% of attendees recognized fintech lending as pivotal in expanding business strategies.
