This past June, we partnered with Kura Oncology, Inc. and Mama's Kitchen as a part of our #FoodIsMedicine initiative to deliver 1,000 meals a week to critically ill patients impacted by food insecurity throughout San Diego! We are grateful for everyone who helped support this event as we strive to foster a stronger, healthier community where everyone has access to nutritious meals. Together We Can Do More
About us
Life Science Cares is a collective effort of the life science industry to help address the impact of poverty on our neighbors in the greater Philadelphia, Boston, and San Diego areas. Through uniting the human and financial resources of life science companies and industry leaders, we support non-profit organizations that do the best work in fighting poverty and providing educational opportunity in our community. We work with organizations doing work in the areas of basic human survival (hunger, homelessness, domestic abuse, crime prevention, etc.), education (STEM education, college preparation and college success, educational enrichment and inspiration, etc.) and sustainability (job creation, job training, mentoring, and economic development.)

Thanks to Life Science Cares San Diego and the organizations they've connected us with, we have reached our ✨1200 backpack goal ✨and are on our way to collecting 1500!!! backpacks for San Diego County students! Thank you thank you!!!
LSC Corporate Partners are invited to support local students this school year. Help underserved students start the new year with all the school supplies they need by holding a backpack drive and assembly event in your office. Your team can come together to fill the donated backpacks with critical school supplies, to be given directly to a student! Providing school supplies to children significantly helps under-resourced families struggling to cover these costs. Interested in helping? Email: [email protected]

Boundless Bio is in the middle of their summer of service! This summer their team has worked with Life Science Cares to volunteer with many of our nonprofit partners, to make a big positive impact in our community. This week, the Boundless Bio team visited Serving Seniors to host a birthday party for all the seniors with a July birthday! Serving Seniors provides critical services to low-income and currently unhoused senior citizens. This support includes everything from free healthy meals to providing a place for community support. The party hosted by Boundless Bio gave the seniors a source of connection and joy, by providing a fun celebration!
