The resort is designed to merge exceptional luxury with a profound connection to nature. Recent updates illustrate the progress of this ambitious project, which features #architecture that seamlessly integrates with the mountainous terrain. Accommodations include ground-level villas, mid-ridge suites, and exclusive rooms carved into the rock, each offering uninterrupted views of the expansive desert #landscape. Facts: - Total Keys: 60 - Accommodation: 50 villas and 10 hotel rooms - Features: Cutting-edge amenities including a world-class spa, fitness center, remote dining options, and a lagoon oasis - Design: Rooms ingeniously carved from the rock, blending seamlessly into the mountain - Activities: Hiking, dune buggies, and stargazing as part of an extensive activities program Progress Report Recent developments reveal that Desert Rock Resort is on track to transform its visionary design into reality. ‘An architectural marvel in the making’

View profile for John Pagano, graphic

Chief Executive Officer at Red Sea Global

Standing on the suspension bridge at our iconic Desert Rock resort at The Red Sea, I’m super excited about what we’re building here and how guests will react when they visit. Carving this unique mountain resort directly into the rock face was an incredible challenge for our construction teams, but it was well worth every drop of sweat when we started to see the results. As we gear up for its opening later this year, it’s clear that Desert Rock will offer an experience unlike any other - a true architectural marvel in the making. From the wadi villas to the unique dining experience at the summit, every detail has been meticulously planned to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. I couldn’t be more proud of the work our team has accomplished. Together, we’re redefining what luxury and regenerative tourism means in Saudi Arabia. #DesertRock  #ForPeopleAndPlanet
