Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is very popular and highly recommended by NICE guidelines as a proven and effective method for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and so much more! As a dedicated CBT psychotherapist and member of the BABCP, I am passionate about supporting people to feel better about and within themselves, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. I currently work with clients aged 16 and older from all backgrounds, utilising a variety of therapeutic techniques to create a friendly and empowering environment, whereby collaboratively, we can develop practical strategies to improve your mental health.
My goal is to offer individuals the support they need to gain a deeper understanding of themselves & develop tools to overcome challenges with resilience & confidence. This could be achieved through strategies including (but not limited to) psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, behavioural activation, exposure therapy, & trauma-focused interventions.
The number of sessions varies based on your needs, ranging from 6-20 sessions lasting 60-90 minutes each. We'll start by discussing your concerns & setting achievable goals, which help us to focus on the difficulties you want to work towards improving. By the end, you will have acquired skills and strategies to feel increasingly independent of sessions.
