YORD FANDAR IN THE ACOLYTE (2024–) 1.04: DAY
The year is 2364, social media platforms of all kinds rose and fell like empires. Only tumblr is still running, a reminder of times long gone. The number one trending topic: Destiel.
Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
Hey. Hey. Tumblr. Ides of March ppl. We can do this
Hell yeah moon holiday
Don't forget to leave oatmeal out on the roof for Buzz tonight!
Can you fucking imagine living in the timeline where the Trump assassination is successful and like a week later Biden keels over of Covid
"Are you ok?" I'm actually tired bro. From the bottom of my heart I'm tired

Of all the shitty sequels coming out that literally nobody asked for, I don't think anyone had "Millennium Bug: Y2K24 Edition" on their bingo card

God, I hate how Vikings are so blatantly romanticized and so-called viking larpers on youtube constantly spread false information like "The Vikings invented modern democracy" or "The Vikings did not colonize half of europe. They were nice people" hur hur
Being a little too cold: brrrr i’m a little too cold !!!
Being a little too warm: i am going to kill the next person who makes eye contact with me.
funniest thing our wizard has ever said after spending several seconds going through their spell list:
"oh who am I kidding? fireball."
I hate pagans so much who celebrate the Viking invasion of Ireland and claim that Dublin was founded by the vikings. That's absolute bollocks!
They might have build a port there and helped the city thrive, but they did not founded the city.
Dublin existed waaaaay before the Viking invasion.
This like when the costco founder said he'd kill the cfo if he tried to raise the price of the hot dog
The Arizona tea snitch hotline may be the first one to actually show good results.
There be devils at work here
That happens in every American city, it's called an American downtown
Why is everything else squares?
That's a good old fashioned American Grid System
