We had an emergency clogged drain pipe right before we were going out of town. We immediately called Ace Plumbing from the good reviews. Ryan came out on time to help us resolve the problem. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and very professional. We will definitely call Ace Plumbing again! Thank you Ryan!

I had a great experience with Ace Plumbing. After a long day of work, I came home to a clogged kitchen sink. Called Ace, they responded quickly, and sent someone out within an hour.
Anthony was quick, efficient, and very considerate of my concerns. Drain was cleared within 30 minutes.
Will definitely do business with then again.

We had a nightmare situation! The toilet was clogged and sewage was filling the bathtub.
I called Ace at 11:30am on a Sunday morning and they had a guy out by noon!
It wasn't an easy fix. They quoted me a price and stuck by it even though the job ended up taking several hours to fix.

Competence, Protection, Professionalism, Efficiency

Competence:
Despite working in an unfamiliar 1923 building, the plumber, Jonny of Ace Plumbing and Rooter, demonstrated impressive knowledge by quickly identifying and turning off the correct water and boiler valves--something neither I nor any of the other 12 residents could have done!

Protection:
The plumber took great care in protecting the work area and surroundings. He used protective shoe coverings, ensuring cleanliness and respect for my home and removed all debris.

Professionalism:
Throughout the job, he communicated politely and clearly, keeping me informed every step of the way.
When I pointed out a minor problem that needed to be remedied, he handled it right away.

Efficiency:
When an unexpected part was needed, he knew exactly where to go nearby to get it, minimizing downtime and ensuring the job continued smoothly.

I highly recommend this plumber for any plumbing needs. His expertise and professionalism are truly top-notch.

Avoid at all costs. Sketchy business.

I called to ask for an assessment of a plumbing issue with a unit that is being rented out. I called Ace Plumbing 4x and asked for a quote multiple times. After the plumber stopped by in the morning, stating he would return, I called again to ask for a read out of what needed to be fixed and how much the estimated costs were. I never received a call back, informing me of when the plumber would return (given an active leak) and what needed to be replaced/repaired. I couldn't be there for the appointment so I called and spoke to the business multiple times to confirm that they would not proceed with work without calling to let me know what the issue was and to provide a quote.

Well...The plumber proceeded to tell the tenant that there wasn't an issue, something just had to be turned on, and specifically that he "wasn't going to charge". Lo and behold, I get a surprise invoice for $400 the next day that specifically states "Ace Plumbing will not proceed with any proposed change order until the change order has been approved/signed by the owner. Any additional work found necessary to complete the work will be discussed and approved by the owner." Well, they never discussed exactly what was fixed, they never called to provide a quote, and every time I email to billing department and call they have no idea what's going on. I very specifically did NOT approve any work. After more conversations than I can count, I've had multiple representatives tell me there isn't an issue and they'd drop the invoice.

It's now been 9 months and they continue to email me and send letters and call and harass me about a fraudulent invoice I never approved and that goes explicitly against what their plumber told us. I'm reporting them to the BBB and consumer protection agencies.

Ace responded promptly to a hot water tank malfunction. Job was handled accurately and priced appropriately. Jonny did a fantastic job diagnosing and replacing my hot water tank on Saturday morning. Would use Ace & Jonny in the future for sure!

This is the 3rd time this year I have used Carlos and Eddie of Ace Plumbing to attend to plumbing issues at my units in Potrero Hill. I contacted Carlos on August 27 to request that he replace and repair bathroom sink hardware. He offered to come over within the hour but I regrettably had to tell him that I would not be available until the following morning. As anticipated, he and his coworker Eddie showed up on time. I provided the hardware that I had purchased at Lowe's. As he and Eddie were installing it, Carlos informed me that there was a "part missing" from what I had purchased. No problem, as Carlos and Eddie immediately left to purchase the correct hardware and returned in 30 minutes to complete the job. Equally important was Carlos showing where the missing part was needed so that I could explain that to Lowe's when I returned the hardware that I had purchased. Bottom line: for any plumbing or plumbing-related problems, Carlos and Ace Plumbing & Rooter will be my go-to folks!

Highly recommend. Ace responded immediately to our issue, and Luis showed up right on time. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.

Carlos, the technician, was extremely courteous and competent. I have worked with Ace for years. Almost without exception they have done great work. Today it was a water heater repair. Last year it was a shower fixture upgrade. Arrived on time. Texted me an ETA. Work completed within the estimate. Great work!
