Berry Airport Shuttle

I tried booking this company for shuttle service from the Oakland airport. I booked a week in advance and received a confirmation email. My departure flight was at 5:30AM, so I went to bed early the night before. The company sent me a text message around 9:00PM the night before saying the amount of luggage declared would not fit in the chosen minivan. I didn't have a chance to respond since I was asleep. I woke up to the text message, along with another saying my reservation had been canceled since I failed to reply. I re-booked at 1:30AM that morning to explain the luggage I had would fit, since we took a minivan to the airport. I didn't hear back from the company until I arrived at my layover location, about 2 hours prior to landing in Oakland. Instead of a text message, they emailed this time saying the reservation had already been canceled and there was no availability. So, which is it? The luggage won't fit, or there are no available drivers? I never received an answer.

Since it was so last minute my group had to take BART. I was trying to avoid the train, since we had baggage, a toddler, an infant child and my father-in-law who doesn't walk very well. I would not recommend this company. They cancelled on me last minute and their texts and emails lacked professionalism!

Always reliable and responsive! Berry Airport Shuttle is always to the rescue for our family on any long trips out of our area. They are courteous, help in getting the right car seats and also get the right cars/vans for servicing the airport. I do think they are getting busy and the email responses are not as timely as before...but they still respond on the first phone call.

One Tip: Request your service at least 24 hours in advance.

Used them in the past and was very happy, but now there are no responses to the emails. The web site for booking online is insecure, and no response to contact through it. The phone number is different than I used before, so perhaps it changed hand. Service on the phone was not pleasant either - wouldn't take a reservation and pointed me back at the web site.
Switching to another company.

We have been using Berry Shuttle to go to/from SFO for a number of years. They have always been reliable, punctual and dependable. They are even more convenient to use since they upgraded their web site for online reservation. On our last trip, they upgraded us to a Black Tesla X when they picked us up from SFO. It was a very nice experience. We will continue to use Berry Shuttle for all of our future trips. Highly recommended!

We had great communication with them while determining our reservation times. Their response was fast and I appreciate that. We needed a ride from Santa Clara to SFO (on a red eye) and returning on another late-night arrival.

Super nice driver. I have a regular limo driver to get me to SJC from Santa Clara but thought I would search around for other places when his quote to SFO was almost as much as a one-way flight to SoCal. Berry ASL came in at a very reasonable price.

They arrived early to come pick us up but told us "Not to hurry", which was nice. The drivers were nice (very quiet) and courteous. When we arrived at SFO, I called them to confirm coming and the girl was super nice as to where we needed to meet them. We'll definitely use them again when we need a ride to SFO.

We've used this service before and haven't had any issues until this last time.

My husband had email exchanges for scheduling and pricing, which was quick. Pick up was agreed upon at 4:30AM the morning of his flight departure to SFO since the flight was at 7:15AM. When his pickup was not there at 4:45, he panicked and called Berry, he said that they mistakenly had his pick up scheduled for 7:30AM! He left without a choice and ended up driving to the airport; he barely made his flight. Needless to say, we won't be using them again. I'd rather pay more or drive myself just so that I wouldn't have to worry that this would happen again.

I live five minutes away from the San Jose airport and I freakin' booked a flight departing from SFO. D'OHHH!!! Since it was ridiculously expensive to switch airports I searched for shuttles on Yelp and this company was highly rated. I emailed, booked without a deposit, crossed my fingers, and prayed that they would arrive at our place at three o'clock in the morning. I was really nervous because they didn't ask for a deposit. Really? No deposit??? It was cheaper than a cab fare too. I was relieved when the driver was on time and he brought a car seat for my baby. Hallelujah!!!! I booked them again when we arrived from our trip and once more, I was happy with the service. Berry convenient, berry dependable, berry good (cheesy, I know...but I couldn't help it)! Thank you, YELP!!!

Very unprofessional service from one of their drivers.

When my husband and I (7 months pregnant) arrived at SFO with two luggage bags, two carry-ons, a tired toddler, we couldn't figure out where our driver was. We called him and he tells us to meet him at the international terminal exit courtyard. We flew domestic and he had our flight info. This was very annoying because he made us walk with all our luggage toting a toddler across the airport to meet him.

We arrive and he's nowhere in sight. We call him and can hardly hear him because he's wearing a bluetooth and roaming around outside the airport. Not sure why he thinks we would be outside when we told him we were coming out of baggage claim. My husband goes out and finally hunts him down.

The driver has an extremely poor attitude with us. Apparently, he's annoyed with us that we didn't go out to find him. He then takes my husband's suitcase only and walks away from us very quickly to where he parked the car. And by quickly, I mean he walked about 20 feet ahead of us and rounded the corner so fast that we thought we lost him. We were appalled at his lack of professionalism.

If I were him, I'd offer to take the suitcase the pregnant lady is holding instead. In fact, he really should have brought a cart. He parked next to a stack of carts but didn't bother to bring one. It's also very rude to be walking so far ahead from your customers, especially when the customers consist of a small toddler and a pregnant woman. We can't speedwalk through the terminal like you, especially when we're hauling a bunch of luggage, so slow down and walk alongside us.

Finally, when we get in the car, he asks us where we're going and how to get there. Are you kidding? He's the driver and should have our destination address from when we booked the car service. Exasperated, I asked him if he really doesn't know, and his response was: "I forgot."

Berry Airport Shuttle and Limo, one of your drivers was a complete bust. I really hope this isn't representative of your entire staff and company. We went with Yelp reviews and were disappointed at the utter lack of customer service and professionalism.

Mukesh has been my personal driver for over 5 years, both personally and professional. He has taken me to every airport in the Bay Area and has always been very punctual and more than accommodating. He is also very affordable and ALWAYS answers his phone.

I highly recommend Mukesh or any of his drivers for whatever you need.

I called. They showed up on time. I got to the airport with no snags. Prices are fair. What more can you ask for when you just need to get from point A to B?
