I am considering purchasing a Dacor 48" Range Top. Best Appliance has been recommended as the best repair shop in Sacramento. My question is how reliable is the Dacor Range Top? Do you repair? And is it difficult to get parts?
A:
I used them for washer repair. Not only was the machine not repaired, the person showed up, didn’t mask, talked on the phone the entire time he was in the laundry room, and blamed me for the washer leaking. Good luck with your range top, though.

I have a Bosch dishwasher (roughly 5 years old) and it currently has a "e2 error" code which I believe is due to an on going water leak inside the unit. I've found it challenging to find a Bosch specialist. Is this something you're familar with?

Dishwasher still had problems stopping intermittently after the service appointment. I called back to let them know they needed to come back out to look at it again. It took several days for them to return my call, but the manager himself called me back to get me on calendar quickly (next day).
The 2nd repair guy (Frank) was also very punctual, which I greatly appreciated. I had requested he call ahead to say he was on his way, which he did, but bc it was from an unknown #, my phone sent him straight to voicemail, so I missed it. (That was my bad, but luckily I was home, so no harm no foul.)
Frank was able to spot an issue with the part on the back of the middle rack. It was not sliding up and down easily like it was supposed to, causing a misalignment, so that the middle rack was getting in the way of the door closing smoothly (or staying closed during cycles). The part has been adjusted to get us by for now, and a new part is being ordered. Thank you, Frank, for being so diligent with the troubleshooting! First off, he arrived in the time window the business gave me. (It's a huge pet peeve of mine when the time window is missed!)
Second, very courteous at the door, and even asked me if I wanted him to take his shoes off. Most contractors and repair guys keep their shoes on. I usually just let them, esp if they are going in & out. But I totally appreciated him asking.
Third, he was very patient listening when I told him how our dishwasher was acting up. He got to work and troubleshot it in a very reasonable time, and took the time to explain the work he did.

Worst Appliance is a better name. I get a weekly, "Sorry but your Bosch parts are on order" email, since February 1, 20204 to today. August 29, 2024. But indeed BOSCH has 17 of my doors in stock. I called about this last week and get a litany of excuses about how Best doesn't get parts direct from Bosch, they have to buy through a 3rd party vendor, that all sounded fake and insincere. 8 months and I still have a problem with my newly installed Bosch microwave.

Hello my name is Silvia,.. I would like everyone to know that this used appliances store in the Sacramento area. IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY YOUR new used appliances.. not only do they listen to you to what your really looking for. The schedule delivery . Especially Steve is so friendly and wNts to make sure your getting the best customer service.. he calls you before arrival and make sure you have no issues left in addressed. In my opinion he deserves a raise... He was so nice and so interested that he answered all my questions.

Oven and freezer service call for each. In every respect the technician was prompt, on time, courteous and best of all knowledgeable about each appliance.

They are definitely not the best - mediocre at best!
Remember that these guys service subzero fridge - that is a really expensive fridge - so you expect top-notch service.
We had a door issue with the brand new fridge and a ticket was created with them and they were going to call us. No calls for almost 2 weeks. Then I called and they couldn't find me at all. Apparently they were missing the serial number of the refrigerator - but not even finding me was pathetic.
The first guy came in at 7 and ordered some parts. Happy with this part of the service - they were there when they said they would be and did everything right.
Once the parts came in, the next appointment was from 8 to 11AM window. Since the service was needed at a house under construction, I asked them to give me me a call before leaving their last job and I could be there - otherwise 3 hour window was too big. I was assured that I was the 2nd job and the 1st job was starting at 7AM - so the service people would be right there around 8AM. OK. 10:20 - nobody was there as yet. So I called since I had only planned for a 10-11 window and I would have to leave at 10:50. So they immediately wanted to reschedule and have me go through this same time window crap again. Fortunately there was some other guy working at the house - so we kept the appointment. The guy finally called me at 10:45 and was going to show up at 11:15.
Seriously - they were not willing to callme before they headed to the appointment, they didn't even meet their time window. They clearly have no respect for customer's time. Can't recommend them enough. Frank was out here to help me with a dishwasher door repair, he was on-time, very pleasant to interact with and fixed the repair meticulously. Throughout the period, he was involved in the service and went above and beyond what he was responsible for, and detected several other issues with the appliance and suggested better ways to fix and use it, going forward.

We had a Sub Zero refrigerator installed on 1-3-23. When the installers from another business put in our new refrigerator, they told us they could not get the water & ice-maker working. They reported the information to the business they work for & we were referred to Best Appliance.
We were initially given an appointment for Best Appliance to come for the repair on Tuesday, 1-10-23.
On the morning of Wednesday, 1-4-23, we found the refrigerator was not cooling, the freezer was not working & meat was beginning to thaw. We were in panic mode as we had hundreds of dollars, if not a thousand, in meat now defrosting in our freezer. We were able to move our appointment with Best Appliance from Tuesday, 1-10-23 to Friday, 1-6-23. We had to purchase a new garage freezer in the meantime or throw out our freezer full of meat.
Raphael came first thing yesterday, 1-6-23, and determined the refrigerator was still in demo mode as it had been a floor model. Raphael was awesome. We appreciate him coming out & figuring out there was nothing wrong with our refrigerator. It just needed to be changed from demo mode.
