Boomtown

Boom town new favourite beer garden. Great ambiance and vibes here! The patio is lit! THE BEST BURRITOS! Sincerely, everything I've experienced here has been wonderful. The loaded tots are my particular favourite since you can never go wrong with them! It has a great boom sauce topping and is crispy and crunchy. Always excellent customer service is provided. Very tasty and a great selection of drinks and foods. Highly recommend! We shall return.

Watermelon salad and tostada - yummy. Great place - I enjoyed my first visit. I'll be back and recommend others to do the same.

My daughter visited from out of town and we decided to go to a place we've never been. As we went up the stairs to the patio area we found a seat we like but no server came even after a considerable time. So we proceeded to the front area of the restaurant and still no server came. I had to finally go inside and seek out a server. When our food came we discovered out drinks were not what we ordered. Well we had to wait a while for those as well. I must say the food which included the tostado, the nachos, the red lentils, and the squid bowl were surprising delicious. The sauces had a bit of a kick to them and they were very tasty. We knew we couldn't finish what we ordered so we asked for a take out box. None came..........we waited and waited yet again. Knowing we'd be late for our movie I hunted down a server after having gone up and down a lot of stairs. Even when I asked we still waited so I looked for another server to finally get a box.
The server who came with the box was also asked to bring out bill. Well the process of hunting down someone to pay our bill was a repeat of the same. I would never go to this place again even tough the food was delicious. It was just too much work for me. I had to apologize to my daughter for the extremely poor service we received. Service is everything even if the food is good. This place is a BIG thumbs down!

I've been coming here since it opened. Always amazing food & drinks. Today I ordered the Bshn Mi Tacos, new to the menu The pork belly was crunchy like crackling. The cilantro & jalapeños were great as well Service is always top notch and the vibe here is warm and inviting. Andy, Andrew and all your staff are awesome people. Always a pleasure. 10*

I'm really torn on Boomtown. I really want to like it, but the price just holds me back. The food is pretty good, and their margarita is pretty good as well. But they absolutely nickel and dime you for every ingredient that in my opinion is just what makes a burrito. They charge an extra $2 for guac, for cheese, for tater tots, they charge extra for literal SALSA. I didn't even know serving a burrito without salsa was an option. Hypothetically you can get a super mediocre burrito for $15 that is a solid meal. But after you add literally every topping that makes the burrito worth eating, you're suddenly somehow paying $25 for one meal. I just don't understand why they're charging $15 for meat and rice and beans on a tortilla.
