      I like using local vendors and I am so glad I chose CG Appliance when I needed to purchase a new cooktop and range hood. Ruth Texin helped me to find just the right appliances for my kitchen. The installers came to pre-measure the spaces occupied by my existing appliances so they knew in advance if they would have to adjust the cutouts. (There is a $75 charge that they apply to your purchase.) Installation went great and I am loving my new appliances. I will definitely shop at CG Appliance for my future appliance needs!

      In an effort to go all electric we needed to get rid of our 30 year old gas cooktop and install an induction cooktop. It turns out that when doing this we needed to also replace our convection oven. We did the research on Google and decided on Miele as we have a 30 year old Miele dishwasher which is still going strong.
      We visited the Redwood City CG Appliance store to look at the cooktop and oven and ended up getting help from Ruth Texin in the Daly City store for the delivery and installation. Ruth was wonderful always quickly replying to my emails answering all my questions.
      First we needed to determine if the new cooktop and oven would work in the space occupied by our older appliances. The installation crew came out and took a look discussing with us the needed modifications to put in the Miele appliances.
      We ordered the cooktop and oven and were kept up to date about their arrival. Both were delivered in great shape. Unfortunately we needed to wait for PG&E to come out and connect our new 200A breaker panel to get the cooktop and oven installed so both sat in our house for a while. (We had not expected PG&E to take so long.) When the new breaker panel was connected and the new wiring put in for the cooktop, Juan and Enrique came out to do the installation. I was so impressed with how carefully they measured everything before making the modifications in our cabinet and enlarging the cutout in our Corian counter top. The kitchen was left very clean and it was a pleasure to have Juan and Enrique in our home.
      Everything looks great and works well and we are really enjoying the induction cooktop. We definitely recommend CG Appliance for this kind of work.

      roger tsang unprofessional
      when calling his mailbox always full
      i spent $6000 and he refuses so far to send me my money back today as i canceled the order. im not sure how to proceed next actually i regret to write this report as roger tsang was so nice and helpful until he took my money. maybe he was having a bad day as hes friendly and funny too.

      furthermore, i ask to use the restroom as i have handicap plates and mobility issues. the building is woefully inadequate regarding handicap access. the parking lot is about 2 floors down the hill from the showroom. no elevator! no help! not ada compliant. see the bathroom picture i could never fit a wheelchair in there! i was exhausted climbing 2 flights of stairs!

      a homeless woman had just used the toilet before me. the smell was vile. the poo was everywhere! my expensive new shoes i threw away they were ruined!

      umm i had to go umm number 2 after my 2 hour drive from my home to cg appliances but i held it down to the homeless woman's poo and no grab bars. i vomited later i'm sorry to be this graphic. i apologize.

      but i'm old and large and have medical and mobility issues but i strive to remain positive!

      I recently worked with Ruth to purchase a suite of appliances for a rental unit. She was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. In short order she helped me find the best deals on the highest quality products within my budget. I initially ordered an electric range, only to realize the hookup was for gas. Ruth didn't blink an eye and got the order on track. The delivery team, Carlos and Santos, were punctual and professional. All went well, except the dishwasher was a fraction of an inch larger than the space. Carlos went above and beyond to make it work, remaining on the job much longer than anticipated. The kitchen now looks amazing! I highly recommend CG!

      We give CG Appliance in Daly City our highest rating for their product knowledge, quick turn-around, customer service, and installation. We just moved into a condo that requires a ventless dryer. After reading reviews and speaking with Michael Fandino at CG Appliance, we decided to spend the extra money and buy the Miele stackable washer and ventless dryer. I didn't go to the store but spoke with Michael on several occasions and he was always available to take my call, knowledgeable about his products, and patient in answering all my questions. I ordered the Miele washer and ventless dryer and they were delivered the very next day. I had also considered purchasing at Lowes, prices were the same, but CG wins hands down on service!! Our experience with CG Appliance was seamless and couldn't have been better! Thank you, Michael!

      The sales manager Jeff recommended and sold me a machine that didn't work upon installation (using their own CG guys to install). CG and Jeff, representing the companies rather than the customers' interests, refused to repair or replace the machine -- check the contract! So now I am stuck with an expensive machine that doesn't work.

      Therefore I have to eat the below costs -- about 10k -- in addition to all the wasted time on this bad purchase:

      1. The cost of the CG machine since there is no refund (even though it's "under guarantee"). The manufacturer said the store should cover, so they're each pointing to the other and working against me.
      2. What I paid for transport and installation of the CG machine.
      3. The costs to remove and haul away the CG machine.
      4. The costs to buy and install a new machine from somewhere else.

      Save yourself the rip-off, go somewhere else. Any place else.

      Attitude toward customers, I have never experienced such rudeness, the moment you walk in. Didn't get her name. I give this place zero star, make sure you are wearing your Sunday clothes or you will be treated with such attitude

      If you want a SMEG, call Gloria and she will get you one. I spent an unbelievable amount of time searching for an appliance dealer who would sell me a SMEG duel-fuel range. Salespeople told me bizarre things like, the range isn't for sale, the range will be released for sale in 4-6 months, and "nobody wants a duel-fuel range". The shopping experience was made weirder because nobody tried to sell me what they had in stock (Sales 101 boys and girls). Three large appliance stores in the Bay Area kissed off a done deal. Two online stores didn't know the product well, for example, 240V/20Amp, and all they sold me was a lower price, not worth it, buy local. Somehow I found CG Appliance and called, Gloria answered. By this time in the shopping process I simply said "I want to buy a SMEG 30" duel-fuel, please take my money." She laughed and invited me into the store to see the SMEG all-gas version she had in stock. I ordered the duel-fuel range, 50% down, 50% before delivery. Twelve days later Tito and Christian installed the range! Maybe I was just lucky, I don't know, but I had spent a few hours over a two week period and drove to two appliance stores before I called CG. Either way, the SMEG 30" duel fuel is perfect! Save yourself a tremendous amount of BS shopping around because the price is the price and to top it off, the other dealers didn't know very much about the SMEG at all - Gloria did!!!

      Read their contract closely.
      They are a third party person in the sales of the appliances.
      In other words if, for instance, you buy, they install, and installers check just the main function of the unit but an hour later you find ,say one of the burners does not function or the oven fails to heat properly, as it should, CG will not take back or replace with a new one.
      You will need to schedule a repair with the manufacture. And guess how long that might take?
      And if they took away your old appliance and charged you a fee and it is still on their truck before dumping, it's gone.
