Rats! Was sitting comfortably, ordered food and from the corner of my eye I saw a rat walking around near the restroom. Luckily they didn't process our order yet, but we notified staff, got up and left. Left with a ball in my stomach. Staff seemed chill but what a horrible experience.

Super yummy Korean food!! We came here on a Friday night and were able to snag the last table before there would be a wait to get seated. It's pretty small inside so you'll end up sitting next to others quite closely, but it's not too too uncomfortable.
We ordered the soy garlic fried chicken (half size) and the spicy seafood noodle soup. Both dishes came out super fast and hot, which was great! The chicken was so so crispy and flavorful and juicy - the breading is amazing and the soy garlic sauce coated it so well. On the other hand, the jjampong was also so comforting and delicious, may be even one of the best ones I've had. There was plenty of veggies and seafood, chewy noodles, and the most delicious broth to soak it all up.
I was so impressed with the quality, taste, and efficiency of this spot! By the time we left, there were quite a few people waiting which speaks to the popularity of it. Certainly worth a try if you're looking for Korean food!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 4, 2023
All in all, I was disappointed with their chicken wings. I had high hope that their chicken wings had better flavor. The only pros on their wings was the size. Other than that, I think their wings are very average. The restaurant selections are weak in Victoria. I probably won't dine at this restaurant again.
The original was just plain with no flavor. But the crust was very crunchy which I liked. The spicy original was not spicy enough. The sauce makes the crust soggy. The soy garlic was okayed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 3, 2023
Sometimes you need some good fried chicken. And Korean style fried chicken which tends to be loaded with crunch (double fried) and flavor hits the spot.
The pub style decor (lots of wood booths) contradicts the very high tech service options wherein there are no menus (scan a QR code), and a button to request service. A little adjustment on my part, but the service was efficient & friendly.
A half order of chicken gets you 6 large pieces (imagine a medium size drumstick though it's likely wing pieces) of tasty double battered and fried chicken. Cooked just right, the chicken wasn't oily. As the varieties we ordered were soy garlic, spicy, and original (no sauce), the flavors were somewhat good but sort of the same. KFC definitely needs sauce to enhance the flavors, and the sauced varieties provided plenty of sauce.
Lots of other Korean bar food was on the menu to try on future trips.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 1120572Jul 2, 2023
First of all, I have be honest that I'd give the beverage selection a three. Not a single dark beer to be found and no wine
Beyond that, I was here to satisfy a serious quest: KFC!!
Hubby had no idea why this would be a thing for me but I soon had him seeing the light. So we ordered the 6 piece original which was a very generous amount. I really should have ordered the spicy but, not knowing how spicy there's was, and hubby not being quite the chili head I am, I opted to go easy on him.
Chicken did NOT disappoint. Hot, juicy with that shatteringly crispy breading that is the REASON it's crave-worthy! I asked for some chili sauce on the side and even hubby found himself dipping.
The fries looked really too, but since we were going to hit one or two more places for more nibbles, AND we had already had that breakfast poutine, we decided to skip them...this time.
If I find myself back in Victoria soon, I'll be back...and bring in the burn!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 25, 2024
OMG sooooo good and huge portions! The only thing we didn't like was the kimchi, the spice and sour took over and it wasn't enjoyable. But everything else was great! We got two 1/2 orders of chicken, enough food for like 3 days. Corn cheese, kimchi + udon. Not sure if this is tied to the Chimac in Seattle, WA but it is far better than the Seattle one! Will definitely come back if we're in town ever again.

This place is right in the heart of the action down by the water and China Town. Chicken was great, seafood Odon was just meh. Service was efficient, served me a room temp Diet Pepsi - just a can with
a straw Not life changing but it was tasty expensive to be sure!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris W.Modesto, CA05Jun 8, 2024
Ambiance is that of a bar. Service was friendly and responsive. Menu limited, as in no Korean pancakes. Water vessel brought to our table did not appear clean and was an old plastic bottle, a real turnoff. The food we ordered tasted good.

Visited Victoria for the weekend and this was our favorite place to eat. The fried spicy chili chicken was amazing, the portions were very generous. We also had the chefs choice gyoza with kimchi and it was awesome. Busy place on a Friday night
