Love this quaint soup and sandwich shop. Never disappointed. Great to see these small businesses that have been around for 25 years with the original owners.

What a hidden treasure. We stumbled upon this small local eatery. No frills, and I don't mean that in a negative way. Seating outside and some inside. Totally reminded my wife and I of our grandparents growing up. What a charming place. Walk in an place your order to the gentleman behind the counter. Pay at the register. The bring the food to your table. My wife and I both had the tuna melt with lentil soup. Just like growing up at grandmas. Delicious homemade fare. Y'all can't go wrong. Great prices and a good hearty meal.
A must stop for those who wish to experience the that old fashioned hospitality. Definitely recommend.

Up some stairs and hidden back in you'll find an affordable little diner with a great view. Service is great, very helpful and friendly. Soups and sandwiches are all good. Recommend.

I have been coming here since 2012. Great view, nice price, and fresh food. My favorite is cucumber cream cheese avocado sandwich. The owner is very friendly, one time he asked me not to leave my stroller outside so it wouldn't get stolen.

Head upstairs and check out the million dollar view! Absolutely loved Amazing views of the Burrard inlet, the convention centre sails, and the North Shore Mountains.
The place and the food are very low key, very old world and simple, but fresh and good in all of my experiences here. And the owner Peter was always friendly.

Ordered the daily special, which included a Roast Beef Melt and a Minestrone Soup. The sandwich, oddly enough, was in a hamburger bun and kind of reminded me of an Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich, in that regard. Overall though, the quality was much better than an Arby's concoction in that the beef tasted very fresh and had just the right balance of mustard and cheese! The soup was also a star player here in that it had a crazy amount of vegetables, noodles and beans in it!

Servers are very friendly so that's definitely a plus as well.

Quite a cute little place with a nice view in the upstairs dining area that overlooks the water. But hidden! If it weren't for the sign they had out by the sidewalks, I don't think we would have discovered the place. I ordered the vegetarian sandwhich and the veggies were all very fresh. Good sandwhich overall. My boyfriend got the Reuben sandwhich which was a good portion-filling but the clam chowder soup was average.
