Crocker Garage

We splurged on this $40 flat rate "valet parking" garage. The location is good but the service is quite unpleasant. Instead of an attendant bringing us the car back, we had to retrieve our key from a window which took a good long time (I don't know why it took so long because the two employees were talking among themselves in a language I don't understand). And then we had to go find our car in the garage ourselves. Parking in a self park garage would have been easier.

Legit $40 for overnight parking in Union Square, is a damn good deal. The hotels in this city charge insane amounts these days.

If you're willing to walk a block or two, I suggest this spot.

While the entire garage itself is super shady and the stairwell exit to the street can't be legal. We had no problems parking for two nights.

I don't suggest leaving your belongings in the car. But this is the city, don't ever do that.

We reserved this parking space using Spot Hero & when we arrived we were told to park on Level 5.

We were not told that there was no elevator & we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs.

We are 75 years old & this was not an easy task.

Spot Hero should have some sort of notice on there website as to the unavailability of an elevator.

Needless to say we were very unhappy with this situation!

We used SpotHero to find a parking spot near The Masonic , we had a disabled person in the car with a disabled placard. I asked the attendant where the handicap parking stalls were, and he said it was full. He pointed at 6 handicap parking spots. Only 1 car had a handicap placard.

STAY AWAY! This is a piece of shit scam business. Parked here paid $20 flat rate, all good. Brother followed me in 3 min later and guy charged him $40 for the same duration. Confronted the guy with both receipts in hand and got nothing but a bunch of attitude and disrespect. In hindsight I should have called the cops, the sign clearly said $20 and he knows he runs a scam operation. He changed the sign to $40 as soon as we left. STAY AWAY!

Horrible service. They act like there is no other option around. The price gouging is incredible as well charging almost double neighboring places. Good place if you want to feel insulted and pay double.

I cannot even begin to explain how furious I am at these scums. Park at the fairmont. It's not much more expensive/ hr.

We had parked to run to the Tonga room for 1 drink we got there had a drink and were out in about 30 min. The hourly rate is $4/15 min. When we returned to pick up the car the man told us it would be $24 I look at him and said that's wrong. Knowing full well he said okay I will give it to you for $12. We had been gone for exact 33 min. He was just trying to rip us off. I will post a picture of the receipt which has him name. Be careful my friends!

My go-to garage when I'm headed to this side of town for holiday events (Christmas tea, looking at the Christmas decorations at the Fairmont and Mark Hopkins) and when I visit the Grace Cathedral and their labyrinth.

It is valet park only, I believe, and it's easy enough...drive up, unload all your stuff, hand over the keys, grab the ticket, tell them when you'll be back (so they can decide where to park the car...on the main level for a few hours or in the subterranean levels for long term.) I haven't had issues here with dinged up cars, so they have that going for them! Polite service...much appreciated.

Very conveniently located on Nob Hill. The crew is very nice, it is very easy to get in and out.

Never park here - unless you want to have the entire contents of your car rummaged thru. My car was returned and the attendant was actually sitting in the contents of my glovebox.

Fortunately I leave nothing of value in my car.

Point is, this is not a secure service, they leave the cars unlocked, and your keys sitting on the car.

No complaints. Reserved and paid on Spot Hero, showed up, they parked my car and brought it back when the concert at the Masonic was done. They were polite and hustled to get people in and out quickly. I would use them again.
