Direct Maytag Home Appliance Center

Our 10-year old Maytag washer broke down just before
xmas 2008 and it was not feasible to repair it. We quickly
researched which new model we wanted and decided on
one of the new Maytag Performance models. These were
just released. I called various places including Sears,
Hope Depot, University Electric, Atherton Appliance, and
the price I was quoted for the model I wanted was the
same pretty much (after installation and delivery), but the
problem was that they could all only deliver in early January,
after the New Year. That was very bad news for us since
we have young children and our washing machine is almost
in constant use! I called Direct maytag and they said that they
also did not have this new Maytag Performance model in stock
but they could order it and deliver it in 3 days (it would have been
2 days but for xmas day). So we ordered it and ithey delivered it
as promised at the appointed time slot on the day after xmas.
It was exactly what we wanted, including the pedestal. The total
price was exactly the same as all the other stores had quoted us.
We were very happy with their service, and most especially how
fast they were able to deliver our new washing machine.
Update 4/Aug/2010 - washer is still working perfectly!
