Domestic Appliance Service - Contra Costa Appliance Repair

I hate trying to find people to work in my house nowadays, as I've come across too many unscrupulous and poor-quality workers in the past. Lyle was awesome. I contacted him when my dishwasher went on the fritz. Lyle came out the same day, quickly identified the problem, and corrected the issue. The repair fell within the minimum service call price of $89.95. Lyle was courteous, complete, clean, and personable. I will be keeping Lyle's number close at hand, and he'll be the first one I call for appliance repair. Well done!

I scheduled an appointment they gave me a timeframe of 12-4 and sent a a text a 7:30a the day of the service revising the window to 2-4. I called them at 3:43p because I hadn't heard anything about the tech being en route. She placed me on hold and told me he would arrive in 15 minutes. He walked in turned on the machine and told me that I would need to replace 4 springs at over $70 each and the total repair cost would be $517.61 for a 3 year old washer that cost me $650. The whole visit lasted total 30 minutes. The quickest $90 for nothing. A quick Google search showed a 4 pack for $50.99. This was a rip off.

I've used them for many years. Lyle comes and fixes everything for us. He's fast, trustworthy and polite.

I was positive I needed a new dishwasher until Jeff from Domestic Appliance Repair came. He was wonderful. So calm which made me calm. In 15 minutes dishwasher was fixed! He even cleaned the buttons on my oven! Highly recommend.

The reviews were promising, so I gave them a call. The message indicated they were on another call and to leave a message. It's a day later and still no return call. Tomorrow a different company will be coming out to repair my washer. Leaving a neutral review because I'll never know if they were any good with repairs, just that their customer service is less than one would expect.

Jeff was on time and communicated well.
His diagnosis of my fridge was incorrect. He diagnosed refrigerant leak or bad compression. Chill Hub diagnosis ( competitor )was compressor inverter board replacement and clean coil and Andy fixed it right away. One year warranty.

I highly recommend Domestic Appliance. They provide fast, exceptional service with reasonable rates. It look Lyle several minutes to fix my leaking refrigerator. Plus he gave tips on how to prevent leaks from happening again. I will certainly call them first if I ever need any other appliance fixed.

Extremely knowledgeable on appliances. Was able to replace heating controls for a duel fuel double oven. And made our stove hood light operational again. Prompt And professional.
