It's a completely different experience when you have the business owner who actually does the work. There's a level of care and integrity in the work. Gary is professional, resourceful, thorough and super friendly. He's a true expert in all things dryer vent related and it shows in his 24 years of experience.

Not only did he clean our vent, he explained how to do the work on my own moving forward and things to watch/look out for when our new washer/dryer unit is getting installed.

After an error light came on our dryer indicating 90% blockage, I got ahold of Gary who came out and did a great job cleaning the vent, and getting it in working order. He also gave me tips for further maintenance. He did such a good job, that I had him look at the other 2 dryers in our 4 unit building, which he gladly did. One was equally plugged and in need of cleaning. Gary was thorough, tidy and very considerate. I have no problem giving him 5 stars.

Gary was really helpful both times he came to help us. He went out of his way to help us troubleshoot our dryer problems and clean the vent thoroughly. And seemed to really care about figuring out what the problem was even though it wasn't immediately obvious. He's really friendly, communicative and efficient. I'd definitely call him anytime we have dryer problems.

A dryer fire denied by Gary at Dryer Vent EXPRESS!

I had to have dryer cleaned before it was repaired (as per suggestion of appliance repair company) so I called a new-to-me dryer vent company that was highly rated by yelp & close to my home. Gary was on his day off, recuperating from back spasms but agreed to come see my concerns. With 2 little ones, I can not be w/o a dryer. It had not been cleaned in my recent memory.

Gary was so patient with this nervous hen of a g-ma and let me take before & after pics. He showed me where lint had been burned into part of the dryer & how the motor was covered w/lint. The dryer had been pushed too close to the wall & the hose squished such that air was impeded from being vented outside. He gave me instructions on how to place the dryer properly.

The amount of lint physically INSIDE the dryer (back area where motor is & vent filter holder that leads to the fan & out the wall) was unbelievable. He left it spotless (as close as an 8 yr old dryer can be). He explained each step in the cleaning process. He also found mfr's instruction book INSIDE the motor "cave"...it was singed!

Funny thing is that once the cleaning was completed, the knocking noise that caused me to call a repair company was gone! It may come back, but not because the dryer needs cleaning!

Gary has been in this business since 1997. He is extremely knowledgeable. I'm telling all my BFF's to consider getting Gary's company to do the full service. He said next annual vent cleaning will be less expensive. I consider every penny I spent today as WELL-SPENT!

I called Dryer Vent Express today and Gary arrived about 60 minutes later. He stated the service call cost upfront and proceeded to look at my messy situation. He quick blew out all of the wet lint and water in my duct, and proceeded to vacuum out all of the residual lint in my dryer and attached a new flex duct. He assumed me that my 30 year old dryer had at least 3 more years to go and gave me some troubleshooting tips should the vent get clogged again. He seems to really know his way around the machines and the issues and was done in an hour. His charges were very reasonable. Will definitely call on him again. Excellent service and communication. Keep it up.

I rarely do Yelp reviews, but Gary is so deserving of it. We needed our dryer vent cleaned and repaired the same day and Gary came out and got the job done. He made a very stressful situation instantly better. He was very knowledgeable, did an excellent and thorough job, and his fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend him.
