Had a solid dining experience here. I felt a bit dressed down but they were real cool getting me a window table, by the bar. It was a bit dark inside, but the decor looked pretty cool. Had garlic flatbread and ate that with the seafood linguine. It was very good. A bit pricey but tasty. A very good dinner option at the bottom of Bastiob Square.

      Pretty cool interior

To whomever prepared the linguine... PLEASE MARRY ME!!!!!
We had the absolute pleasure of dining here for lunch.
I had the seafood linguine, because of previous reviews, and my friend had the sablefish. The seafood was cooked to perfection. The flavours were wonderfully balanced. The service staff was lovely. The patio view was the cherry on top! Thank you all for being the shining star to our visit to your beautiful island! We hope to be back one day. Hugs to you all!

      1 check-in

We thankfully had a reservation on a Friday night. The place was packed!

      - Fresh steamed local mussels: so good! The broth was light and citrusy and was delicious with some bread. We had a couple of bad mussels, but overall, they were meaty and delicious.

      - Seafood linguini: The sauce was pretty similar to the the broth with the mussels, but it was fantastic! There was a good amount of shrimp and shellfish, too.

      - NY steak: my husband said this was pretty good, and one of our Uber drivers during our trip also commented that he enjoyed the steak at Finn's.

Overall, we had a great time. The ambiance was wonderful and lively, our server was nice and attentive, and we left with happy bellies.

Ordered the pizza with the earthy salad...horrendous!!
The pizza was undercooked, the sauce was sweet. The salad was a weird texture with a strange combo of flavor.
Husband ordered the fish & chips..maybe a 2.5 out of 5 at best.
A touristy no-no for sure....go elsewhere & save your money.

Amazing food, service, and location to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We enjoyed drinks and dinner on the patio. While we shared the shrimp tacos and crab, I didn't get any pics. The food was 100% worth the cost and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

      Delish!

The patio seating has a great atmosphere right by the harbor. Food items are great quality and on the pricier side. Service was friendly and could be more attentive.

      Ordered the following:
Steamed clams in a white wine cream sauce - the clams were fresh and the sauce was tasty
Crispy skin sablefish with lemon caper butter sauce, whipped potato & cod brandade - fish was rich without tasting fatty and exceptionally prepared and the whipped potato was delicious. One of the best sablefish I've ever had.
Finn's burger and fries - burger was OK and nothing to write home about, fries were a bit hard and too crispy

Would come back for more seafood and possibly try some chops and steaks.

Renovated an old 19th century place, they've done a great job of keeping the old feel but very nice newer layout and decor. They have indoor and outdoor dining but we liked the upper floor small dining loft area which was quieter and
overlooked everything. Had the trout (Steelhead) which was perfectly prepared on a sweet potato layered like a lasagna. Of course the wait staff were friendly and attentive. We ate early (6pm) and definitely recommend reservations as the place filled up by 7.

A really nice restaurant with a pub feel. Bar seating lends a down to earth touch while lobby and decor hint at a higher end vision. The Boss and I came for fish and chips. We both ordered the haddock and chips which came with a large, crispy, heavy, beer battered flakey, white, moist haddock nestled amongst crispy pub style chips. The slaw looked to be house made and was fresh and crisp. Washed it down with another local IPA.
I've had better fish and chips, especially for a $26 plate, it was good, but...... service couldn't have been better and the restaurant was lovely inside.

We stopped here on a whim for a late lunch and a drink on the patio. Tons of shaded seating and service was super friendly and quick. We were floored by the quality of the food. We didn't expect it but the fish and chips were perfect and a large portion. The house made tartar sauce was so good; I only wish I had ordered more of it! We also ordered the Earthy salad to share which was so flavourful, hearty, and fresh. 10/10 highly recommend stopping here if you are at the Victoria waterfront.

Very good food, we loved their cocktails, too. The patio is not that great. Very tight and not inviting. Inside is much nicer, multiple rooms with different decor. Friendly and attentive service. Would recommend.
