Great experience getting my appliances repaired this week. During COVID shelter-in-place, all the home-cooking took a toll on the kitchen appliances. Andrew diagnosed the problems with the oven (temperature sensor dirty), the stove (1 gas burner needs a new valve), and refrigerator (broken control board). Andrew took care of the Oven (and even fixed the lower oven which we thought was broken for good) and fixed the fridge (plus put in a new light bulb and gave its vents a cleaning). We decided not to replace the gas valve. The diagnosis of the appliance problems was very thorough, and I felt like the cost was reasonable. Also, my dogs think Andrew is great and wanted to hang out in the kitchen working with him the whole time.

Found these guys via Yelp Projects and sent quote requests to five vendors. First vendor said they couldn't hook up the vent duct. Second vendor said they couldn't hook up the vent duct. I was starting to think that all these places had not given their staff elementary dryer 101 training.

Finally got a message from Lily at First California Appliances. At first our appt was Sunday 12-2pm then it was switched to Monday 12-2pm. Was very convenient and they had a professional appointment system with reminders, which I appreciated.

Alex showed up, very polite and professional. He quoted $225 to hook up the duct and troubleshoot the dryer. Yay! Within a half hour, Alex had the dryer back together and working great. Highly recommend this company! You can pay via Zelle which is so convenient.

Andrew came to my home to repair my dryer that wasn't heating. He was very professional and did a diagnostic test. He let me know exactly what the issue was. He fixed my dryer within the hour. Very happy with his services and will call him if ever needed for other appliances.

Our technician was extremely kind and professional. He explained everything before he did it. He fixed the leaking water in our refrigerator.

We will definitely hire him again. Thank you.

Good communication, trouble shooting and solving the problem. Practical. I had another estimate that had me paying 2x for including unneeded work.

Very prompt and easy online/phone app system for paying.

BTW save yourself $$$ and avoid getting a Wolf. Yet because they're so pricey it's actually worth repairing. But $150 for a new knob?! I don't think so. Not the fault of this service provider. But if you go this direction, keep these folks on your speed dial.

I needed to have my washing machine repaired (it was leaking) so I contacted this company and Andy came to the house and diagnosed the problem as a faulty water valve assembly. Andy explained to me the problem and then placed an order for a replacement assembly. since this took part on Friday it was monday before the part was received and Andy came back and replaced the unit. Work was done excellently and as quickly as possible. The service was outstanding and Andy was excellent. The cost of repair was a huge savings over a new washing machine.

We have a GE Cafe oven & induction cooktop. The induction cooktop stops working after 10 seconds.
we had Jean that came to diagnose and possibly fix the cooktop.
Jean arrived on time and meticulously disassembled the cooktop to reach the components. Jean diagnostic was a faulty chips that costs $1165.
I decided not to go ahead with repair because of high price of the faulty component
Jean was very understanding and polite. He reassembled the components and tested the oven.
His service charge of $70 was reasonable for 45 minutes of precision work.
if I decide to go ahead with repair, for sure I would call him back to fix the cooktop!

Good communication. Showed up at agreed time and fixed the washer. Overall great job.

They were knowledgeable, efficient, and reasonable. I will hire them again when the need arises.

I had water leaking into my dishwasher and the tech did a quick easy fix (tech just added a zip tie and that might have fixed our problem), probably about 10min. Was originally quoted $150 but later quoted/charged $120. However, the tech did not clean up after himself so my husband and I had to clean up the mess that was left over.

Will give an update on the dishwasher after a few weeks.
I left a 4 star because originally I asked for help with a leaking dishwasher. I didn't give a 5 star because of the left over mess.

Fast response and repair. Our dishwasher was leaking for couple days. We had checked it's not because of the water pipe. So we called FCA.

They responded very soon and provided detailed information for us to understand what they will do and how much we are going to be charged.

The tech, Jean, was excellent, professional and knowledgeable. He fixed our dishwasher perfectly. We will definitely recommend them to all our friends if they need any help.
